I have a thinkware from bestbuy in my explorer. It has a front and rear camera (rear cam unfortunately connects with a long aux cable that comes with it. It has the option to be hard wired or cigarette lighter powered. Has an SD card. Impact detection. 2k front camp 1080p rear and nightvision. The new modules have GPS. They're about 200$ but I've had no complaints other than on cold days the programmed voice that plays when the cam turns on sounds like it's under water but then goes back to normal after the camera warms up in the sun.
r/f150 • Dash Cam recommendations ->Thinkware from Canada, get dual channel aka front and rear. They have nice features like battery voltage cut down to save your car battery or parking/driving recording when hardwired.
r/drivingUK • Dashcam ->They are but worth it in my opinion, especially the extra features they come with, like the battery voltage monitor I mention earlier
r/drivingUK • Dashcam ->I second this. They did a great job - picked up a Thinkware front and rear dash cam set.
r/Dallas • Recs for dashcam install? ->I tapped mine into the power above the mirror. Different Hyundai, but same concept.
r/Hyundai • Dash Cam Inquiry ->Thinkware brand. I don't know the model offhand, but it's a front and rear unit and works very well.
r/Hyundai • Dash Cam Inquiry ->Think ware x800 front and rear. It had all the features I needed. I chose it over 70mai since it has a better battery. Didn't opt for viofo a129 duo since I preferred a smaller rear cam. Think ware is a Korean brand so that was another positive for me.
r/CorollaHatchback • Dash cam Recommendations? ->For the most part, dashcams have the same internals, so do your research. I'm sure there's newer videos, but I remember LTT did a roundup pointing this out a while ago. A few years ago I ended up getting a Thinkwear "brand" front and rear.
r/Frugal • Thinking about getting a dashcam worth it? ->I got a pair of thinkware x800s up here in Canada on sale with rear cams and GPS sensors plus all wiring for about $200 CAD each. Good camera.
r/ram_trucks • Dash cam suggestions? ->I have been running a thinkware front and back combo for over 5 years now with no issues. It even saved me in court once after an idiot crashed into me and lied about it.
r/CarTalkUK • Dashcams ->Thinkware x700,x800 without any modifications or old school FA200 if you can find one. Otherwise I'd recommend you upgrade to something higher Video quality and change out the rear video cable
r/Dashcam • Dashcam suggestion ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
