I wanted the $300 one, I got a $30 one. Some day, I might be able to afford something better.
r/fordranger • What dashcams are y’all running? ->I wanted [this](https://a.co/d/20gDMMD). I got the one in the picture (can't link). So far, it works okay, but if I don't drive my truck at least once a week, it will drain the battery, so I have to unplug it at home. Amazingly, it still keeps the time and the date. I haven't hooked up the rear camera yet because I'm not sure how to do that. When driving at night in the rain, I could see better through the camera than the windshield. I actually have another camera I bought for my van, but I'm disabled and couldn't crawl through all the crap in the back to hook up the rear camera. Some idiot totaled my van a year ago, September, and it's still in the box. I'll probably get around to selling it eventually. https://preview.redd.it/455mgl6wu6zd1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=321a679cdaba527c718aa1d906d980cdd015d252
r/fordranger • What dashcams are y’all running? ->I bought a vantrue e3 dashcam. I love it and it takes great quality video. It was 295$ on amazon. I know its expensive BUT i rather have a good quality dash cam that costs more than 100$ than either a 500$ deductible or 1000$ deductible that ill never see back if i get into a accident and the responsible party that causes the accident lies like most do into blaming us the not at fault driver.
r/Camry • What brand Dashcam should I buy ->Vantrue E3, worth the price. It's also on sale now for $210. Plus coupons on Amazons page comes down to $160s
r/FordMaverickTruck • Dash cam ->I have had a Vantrue E3 and now an S1 pro. Been good overall, only issue was my first one (E3) slowly melted in the summer heat when using a sun reflector. But probably any brand will do that in punishing Texas summers
r/civic • Dash cam ->My crv isn’t that new but they are simple to install. I have the VanTrue E3 in mine using the cigarette lighter. My wife has the VioFo A229 in her mazda 5 powered using the obd port. Theres dozens of not hundreds of install videos on YouTube.
r/crv • Anyone recently buy & install a dashcam in a 2024/25 CRV? ->I have the VanTrue dash cam , 3 channel, also bought the OBD PLUG IN FOR $29.99 and I love everything about it. Also purchased the 512 gig micro chip so I don’t have to reformat so often. I would highly recommend! Your car is such a huge investment and the insurance keeps going up , so I want to make sure you have evidence of the acc is not your fault.
r/HyundaiSantaFe • My dashcam experience ->Hi, i'm on Uber'Lyft with a 2022 SE Hybrid- i have a VanTrue 3 way- ...and have a body cam on left shoulder angled for driver window view, and another i put on the visor for left passenger window- Overkill i know- i still also want one of those new type rear view mirror/monitor devices- 3 way touch screen, unobstructed rear view and can record too... Then there's whether you need the a/v on the cloud or just onboard...
r/Camry • What brand Dashcam should I buy ->I have an older Vantrue with the GPS base, records forwards, in cabin and rear, and can select which configuration you'd like. Zero complaints over 4 years.
r/HyundaiTucson • Any dash cam recommendations for 2025 Tuscon? ->
