I fitted a vanntrue F1 relatively recently and was able to hide the cameras effectively, rear peaks over my rear license plate, front under my front instruments. Naked, no fairings to worry about for me, but they were small enough to hide. I can appreciate your desire to not make your helmet or your bike look like it's bristling with instrumentation, lol I just installed an innovv blind spot detection system, the radar under my tail light, just over the license plate. They have combo systems that will give you both, cameras looked to be about the same size. I already had the cameras so I went with just BSD radar. Both brands put a control unit under the seat and require you to do some wiring to get things hooked up to acc power; I put both into the relay directly. F1 has wifi or a desktop application to transfer the captured video, IDK about innovv. Battery powered would definitely be easier to stick on and go... Which may or may not be a positive thing for you if you enjoy the tinkering of getting stuff hooked up. I see mostly advice of "git gud" in the comments... Even though you asked something else entirely. I say both: practice, maybe take a class, whatever AND get the cameras for backup then hope you don't need the cameras because of the practice.
Consider Vantrue Falcon F1. Wired for me is the way. You want it for accident evidence. If you want it for insta I don’t think dash cams are the way to go.
I have a Vantrue F1 4k system. 4k front, 1080p. Uses Sony starvis sensor so as good as it gets at night video. Excellent quality. Fit and forget. I also have an insta360 x5 mounted on the front but don’t consider that a dashcam more of a “catch cool things” camera! https://preview.redd.it/hbdsfe4fi3wf1.jpeg?width=5712&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=894828399576cc155b6c51d7f4ee7ba401c7f3c1
I just installed a vantrue F1 front and rear dash cams. Not easy to install it correctly but it's worth it. The control unit has a mic built in and can support up to 512 gb memory cards. The front camera is 4k and the rear is 2k if I recall correctly. I used to use a insta 360x3 but the battery didn't last very long and 360 footage eats up memory card space. https://preview.redd.it/sfzsqior5scg1.jpeg?width=942&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b87a0810b2798694b382da4f29348752a8aea6e0
Seconded on both points. Vantrue F1 is a great dash cam setup for front and rear cams, can be wired very discretely and records very clear footage. You can loop your SD card in it - I have a 1.5tb card in mine which is good for about 70hrs of looped video. But it is not for motovlogging or “cool” action shots with your friends. If you want that, look to a helmet mounted setup and some external mics.
For dash cams there are a few options. The absolute best option is the Vantrue F1 with it's 4k front camera and 1080p rear camera for roughly $400. The other 2 pure dash cam options are from Viofo and Rexing. Both of those are 1080p only. Another option is to get something like a Carpuride or Chigee unit that has an add on or comes with 2 1090P cameras. These options can be cheaper or more expensive than the pure dash cam route. My personal dash cam set up is a Chigee AIO 6 LTE with front and rear 1080p dash cams. It also doubles as an Android or iOS screen mirroring unit for using the same nave options you might have in your car. I also use an Insta360 Ace Pro 2 or DJI Action 6 mounted to my helmet to fill in gaps that the dash cams might somehow miss and to show where I was looking in the event of an accident.
