I like my Vantrue M2. There is now an M3. Comparable to the Wolfbox G800 or G900 series.

r/Dashcam • Good dashcam? ->Vantrue or VIOFO. They both use the Sony Starvis image sensor and have great quality. The cameras are pretty set and forget if you opt for the hardwire kit. It will turn on and off with the car and start recording as soon as it starts up. The included power adapter does the same thing if your power port in your car turns off with the ignition.
r/Parenting • Recommendation request: dash cam for teen driver? ->Front/rear facing Van True dash cam is what I used driving Uber on our ‘21 Sienna. Added one lookin out the back after being tailgated by a Peterbilt on I-80 in Pennsylvania. All I could see was chrome in the rear view mirror at 75mph. Easy enough to install and hide power supply cables. (Picture resolution roughly the equivalent of an iPhone 11)
