Mine is N4S. The 3-channel cams really help when I drive through crowded roads.

I’ve got the vantrue n4s. Not just front and rear but also a cabin cam, and all three look super clear. Definitely gives me extra peace of mind when driving.

So I have had 3 total vantrue products. All 3 were pretty nice while they worked, but 2 of the three have failed just outside of warranty. Both n4s that failed on me were less than two years old, and both failed in the same way, with the motion sensors failing first meaning that they would never "sleep" or go into parking mode because they no longer thought they were still. This was fine and I continued to use them as they were just plugging and unplugging them as I needed so that they wouldn't drain my battery. Then one had a front facing camera failure. Front camera just wouldn't come on at all, and if it did it was just rob rainbow splattered pixels. Discarded it and replaced it with the same model. Well my 2nd one (not the replacement) failed in the same way. I got by a little longer with that one by learning that if I squeezed the lens into the camera really hard the front camera would almost always pop back on for an hour or so, but that only worked for a couple months. Discarded that one and now I still have the replacement but I fear that it will fail in a similar fashion now as well. In the 1nd vehicle I'm running my old viofo a119 and that things still chugging along. When this vantrue dies I'll start the hunt for a new brand. Edit : Oh and I've had 3 of their suction mounts fail over 3 years. The rubber eventually just rips and disintegrates. I know these aren't products designed to last forever but other similar products have lasted longer for me.

Vantrue NS4 is excellent...have that on my son's car. Four cameras, one on windshield recording forward and into cabin, another on rear window records backwards and into rear cabin. All four combined you get near 360deg coverage. Hardwired so it's on 24/7.....detects motion if parked and begins recording from all 4 angles .

https://a.co/d/ctqGseM this is what I use. It was suuuuuuuuuper easy to install. Power comes from your accessory outlet. Wire goes to the front facing camera that attaches via glue like a hands free cell phone holder. Wire goes from front camera to back camera that also applies via glue. The only tricky part is hiding the wire. You can tuck it between the ceiling upholstery or just redneck it double-sided tape. You'll need a fast read write memory card for it. Reformat the card every month from the camera options so the memory doesn't turn corrupt from constantly writing. The camera can be detached from the mount and I think hooked up to a pc to view data or you can put it on wifi mode and view them on your phone.

Only having a front view isn’t really enough. At least get front and rear cameras, since that’s where incidents happen most often. I'd say go for the vantrue n4s. It’s a 3 channel dashcam that covers all around my car. Pretty happy with it :)

Yeah it supports parking mode. It works pretty well.

I have the vantrue 4s, you use an app to connect to the dash, and once connected you can see all the videos on the dash’s storage but they’re not on your storage until you physically choose to download a video

I’ve tried a few dashcams over the years, and I’d say the Vantrue N4S is among the best value ones. The main reason I picked it is the 3-channel HDR setup. It offers great video quality and wider views at a reasonable price. I feel safer with it since it records the front, cabin, and rear, so I basically get coverage around the whole car. It also comes with STARVIS 2 sensor, which gives me clearer footage at night. Last month I went on a road trip and tried its Platepix mode on the highway. I was surprised that I could even see license plates clearly on the road. I really think having a good dash cam is important. When something happens, it’s the best evidence I’ve got.

Previously bought a vantrue 4s or something (returned it after) , spoke to a bunch of installers, they told me if I need parking mode, and drive a bimmer, then go with a Thinkware. Drains very little battery (I had set it max 6 hours recording, I power it off in the garage). Records everything, parking motion, going over a speed bump and closing the door automatically locks footage, etc. medium sensitivity setting is very sensitive Don't forget to get a high endurance or max endurance micro SD card, Sandisk or Samsung. Best thing is no battery error messages from the nav screen. (or get an external battery pack to record a lot longer--super pricey though)
