I would recommend Vanture S1 Pro Max. It has duel 4k cams for rear and front. I’m using it myself and the price is relatively reasonable compared to Viofo’s offering for a similar setup (a229 ultra)

FWIW I run a dual 4k vantrue s1 pro max with a 512 GB card and get about 21 hrs of loop before overwrite. At 1080p front+rear you’ll get significantly more footage per GB, so a 256 GB card will easily cover 24 hrs of vision.
Yeah, dash cams with forward collision alerts are way better now than a few years ago. I’m rocking the vantrue s1 pro max and it’s got all the ADAS goodies. Forward collision warning, lane departure, pedestrian detection, front car start alert… the whole shebang.
It’s definitely not as fancy as Mobileye, but for the price + recording + safety alerts all in one, it’s been pretty solid for me.
If you just after front and rear cameras, the Vantrue S1 Pro Max could be worth a look. I’ve been using it, and the dual 4K cameras and audio quality are pretty solid.
I’ve been using the Vantrue S1 Pro Max recently. It’s a front and rear setup and doesn’t take much space. The audio recording turns on automatically, which is nice for daily drives.
Yes, Vantrue S1 Pro Max (4k front and back). I paid an audio installer to wire it directly to the cabin fuse box. Works like a charm and has been hassle free for years now.
If you don't want to stash cables are you happy charging via cigarette lighter? If so most dashcams will do that fine.
I have the Vantrue S1 Pro Max (dual 4K variant). It can be powered by cigarette lighter but I just hard wired mine. If nothing else I don't really like loads of cables around my dash and controls.
