"It was the easiest thing. Just used a spoon to lift up some interior trim and the included sticky pads. YouTube it, Viofo also has some videos but others have made vehicle specific videos."
"Ifs easy to install and powered from cig lighter via usb plug. ... I just tucked the wire around the headliner trim down the pillar under dash etc. ... If you can install a ez pass scanner on your windshield you can do this lol."

"My A119 has six years on it in the hot Arizona sun. ... Only recently had a change the SD card. ... Camera still works perfect."
"I’ve had a Viofo A119 for 5 years now still going strong"
"In Florida mine were getting fried. Just due to the heat I guess. Someone somewhere recommended Viofo a119 and it has held up well."

"I don't trust them anymore with their built in capacitors that died."
"the unit doesn't begin to record when the vehicle is started ... the red REC led light blinks rapidly ... Turning it off/on again seems to rectify it."

I also have a Viofo. They are great. I think that is the same model I have currently in my car.
I only trust Viofo dash cams for image quality and durability. Had A119 V1 for several years never a single issue and still works fine. Upgraded to A119 Mini 2, ran that for a year, then upgraded again to the A329T 3ch model with ssd attached.
I have the Viofo A119 V1. It’s a little old now (with V3 being the latest) but it’s been rock solid for the past 7 years. For the price and its features (at the time), there is not much to complain about.
Like someone suggested, just go for the baseline Viofo for £130. Anything less and you're gonna get a low image mess that'll likely break in some form after 2 months.
I’ve had the VIOFO Dash Cam A119 (front and back) since 2021 and has survived the heat so far. I don’t like the software phone app but it works without it. Not the best sharp image but it does get the basic details you need. I like Front and back combo for the price.
Viofo from hachielectronics. It plugs from my fake engine noise so it doesn't have to take up usb space nor have to do any fuse voodoo.
I got the viofo a119 as well. Very small, almost invisible when I’m sitting down if you install it behind the rear view mirror. Also very easy to install in the ND. Highly recommended.
I suggest to get any Viofo besides the A229 (audio quality can turn loud at certain times), Either go with the A119 or A129, best models or either a Garmin or Thinkware, you can find some of them for under $200 or $100 and they're very easy to install!
There is a neat community and [recommendations thread on /r/dashcams](https://www.reddit.com/r/dashcams/comments/1iube1b/dashcam_recommendations_on_reddit/). Helped me get my A119 which was around $90 when I got it on sale.
No. Get a viofo a119 dash cam and then buy this adapter [here on amazon](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CT37DNWV?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) Lmk if you have more questions.
