I use the Viofo A139 2 channel for all of my cars and never had an issue with it besides the one time I bent the coaxial cable running to the rear camera disconnecting it. Tiny unit but captures very well.
I second that. Viofo A139 duo. But there are better versions out now I think.
Viofo a139 duo (it’s been replaced by the a139 duo pro )or red tiger f9 these both have no screens on them so they are tiny
I love my red tiger f9 4k the app is bomb 2nd option is viofo a139 duo ( app isn’t great but I have a usb c sdcard reader just incase ) These two cameras are tiny so they are hidden quite well You can get them from Amazon
It was watching DCOA videos and paying attention to the brand watermarks what made me pick my Viofo A139. Image quality is great day and night, picture is clear and sharp without feeling over sharpened. Hardwiring was pretty simple too. Fantastic insurance, worth every cent.
Same here Viofo A139. most of the time it works but in the summer its a throw of the dice.
Get any Viofo dashcam on sale from Amazon. Sony Starvis sensor models is what you’re looking for. I’ve had the a139 and the a229 duo before, both work as advertised. For install I’m sure you can save some money and figure it out yourself - it’s really not that hard.
My Viofo A139 just kicked the bucket and kept power cycling. Need to contact them and see how they handle it
I've had Viofo A139's in my cars for 4 years now, they still work flawlessly even after enduring a couple of Texas summers parked outside. Great build quality on them.
I went through 3 Viofo A139s due to two of them not being able to hold an SD card (the clip to hold in the card broke and shot the card out the side of the camera). One of them kept rebooting. Once my warranty expired, they agreed to have me pay only $30 to replace each one out of warranty. I’m in coastal California, so there’s sun but not Arizona/Texas heat.
Two different cams with the same clip issue. I didn’t wait until the warranty expired. The first time the SD clip broke, it was under warranty and I sent it in for a free replacement. When the SD clip broke on the replacement camera, it was like 4 months after the first one broke, but out of the original warranty period. I paid $30 to replace it. The new replacement camera only lasted for 3 months until it when into a boot loop. $30 later and the new camera hasn’t had any problems in 2 years.
