"Was easily able to run the wires on the top, press it behind the header with the spudger they gave and make it look nice. Then on the liftgate theres a plastic cover panel you can take off to bundle the extra wire and make the drop to the camera really nice and clean."

"Also the camera slides onto the GPS module which is then 3M to the glass. On certain high g turns it will slide the dash cam out."
"My gripe with the A139 Pro is where the buttons are located. Pushing in them induces a prying motion on the 3M tape and causes it to peel."
I use the Viofo A139 2 channel for all of my cars and never had an issue with it besides the one time I bent the coaxial cable running to the rear camera disconnecting it. Tiny unit but captures very well.

I have mine plugged into an external battery pack because I don't want to hardwire it. There's actually tons of good options now, dashcam technology has come a long way in recent years and there are some great quality cameras. There's also r/Dashcam for sample videos.

Image quality is great day and night, picture is clear and sharp without feeling over sharpened. Hardwiring was pretty simple too. Fantastic insurance, worth every cent.

Easy to connect to it with the phone app and view or download clips. Has parking mode if you hardwire it with movement sensor and G-sensor plus time lapse recording.
