Same reasoning, insurance protection, dual cams for minimalist install, hard wired for ease of get on and go, looped vid with app to pull vids. Recently stopped working and bought a second with same issue, don’t recommend.
Only-Thing-8360I use hardwired F&R camera systems on my big bikes. Discreet, automatic, fit & forget etc. Video quality far below GoPro etc, but plenty good enough for insurance & liability. Have used Innov in the past, they were pretty good. Currently using Viofo MT1 and happy with them.
SnooPandas4020I prefer the latest VIOFO dash cams. And if the latest model is outside your budget look at the 2k or 1080p versions.
