I’ve had the VIOFO T130 for two years now, no complaints.

r/uberdrivers • Got a complaint. Not sure what it says I did but I bet it was the $72 ride I took this morning. ->

Bought a brand new '23 and had a cam (3 way, viofo t130) hardwired in to run 24/7. Because I have had FOUR (100% not at fault) accidents with other cars. I am just grateful that i didn't need the proof those times it was so blatant but I am MORE than thrilled to have the cameras in this car ready to protect me from so many angles and I recommend a dash cam to EVERYONE.

[VIOFO T130.](https://a.co/d/51aj5U2) Works great for my purposes. My spouse went viral when she was rear-ended in our LEAF. I moved it to the EV6 when we got it.

VIOFO T130. Front rear and driver window cameras. I got the hardwire kit too so ir records when my car is parked. Video quality is great

That's unfortunate. At least it happened during the return window. The thing is, like Viofo, Vantrue also has Chinese origin. So even though N4 tops many "Best Dashcams" lists it's a hard fact to ignore. I try to avoid buying tech Chinese companies sell, but the price point got me. I have the T130 because it has the interior cam attached to the front. Maybe Thinkware or Blackvue (both South Korean) is the way to go. Why aren't the Japanese making dashcams? That's where I prefer my cars from.

This is the cam I have had installed in my Wrangler for a couple of years now. I am extremely happy with it. Works great! Good visuals. Good sound. Good internal camera with an option for a rear external as well. Doesn't melt in the hot summer sun. Wifi connection to your phone if you want. It's a solid product. I also have the wiring kit. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09D3GN2P1/ https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09MRVP2PX/

No problem! I went through about seven different dash cams over several years before I found one that wasn't complete garbage that melted in the sun. I know what it's like searching for a good cam.

lol. I have a different cam in my Grand Cherokee but if I had to choose a new one for it now, it would be the one I linked you. If you want to get an idea of the quality of the video, take a look through the video posted below. I don't have anything of the interior or rear cam but the video gives you an idea of the forward facing camera quality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Y--TRIiMZc

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09D3GN2P1 The video quality on this dash cam is amazing. I have it installed in my 2Dr. It has a forward facing cam, internal cab cam and you can still install a rear camera if you want. Three cameras in one device. You may have to source it from another location as Amazon seems to be out of stock but this is a top tier dash cam.

Just a heads up. I found Nexar to be a bit difficult to use. It eats up storage on your phone. And while the ability to review trips from the comfort of your PC back at home, I find it easier just to use a good reliable Dash Cam, and I don’t think Nexar is it for me. What I use is a VIOFO T-130 3ch. It records the front, back, and inside the cabin.

I've been using it with rideshare for a few months now. The quality of the video is top notch with the Starvis 2 sensor even at night. Fast Wi-Fi, good app, decent microphone, voice commands and that great "low profile" wedge shape for which Viofo is known. I'm using a Samsung card just fine. It sees a bunch of use with my work, and I check the card and format on a schedule. If I have any complaints, it is probably about the interior camera. It just feels cheap compared to everything else. The quality, even for 1080p, looks subpar to other interior camera combos I've had, and the exposure is just "weird" in that it doesn't exactly flatter anyone sitting in the car. It also has an IR cut filter (or something similar) so every time a set of bright lights hits it at night, you hear the audible *click* of the IR turning on/off which is annoying. I thought dash cameras were moving away from this. Lastly, while the IR coverage is fine, the scope is narrowed so that anything out of the cone/"periscope" of light coverage isn't lit nearly as well. My previous camera (Coxpal), while it had its own issues, did all these things better with its interior camera. Otherwise, it is a really solid camera. Have it hardwired for parking mode, and it's given me no operational issues whatsoever.

I’d stick to a VanTrue or Viofo, personally.

Yea, my dad has a VanTrue N2 Pro - it’s for rideshare drivers and cabbies. But, it uses a battery - NorCal isn’t Texas or Arizona but if I had to do it again, it’s a Viofo 3-channel system.

Screw it looking oe. What you really want is a good camera. Viofo makes some of the better ones WITH a rear camera as well. After doing lots of research, lots of them use garbage cameras but the better ones use Sony. Specifically the Song Starvis. The Starvis 2 just recently came out and viofo made a new one with the 2. Good cam, doesn't look ugly. Supports parking recording and collision detection. [viofo Amazon ](https://a.co/d/izrOa1d)

The best cameras are the Viofos but the Fitcam is the easiest to install cleanly and looks OEM so it really depends on what you're after.

I've owned several Viofos and I don't trust them anymore with their built in capacitors that died. I now have 70mai brand. Have the model A800S

I've ran several viofos with no problems. Currently run a A119 V3. No problem easy install. Been running them for years. Usually if something is wrong, its the sd card.
