Got a Viofo WM1. Very easy to hide behind the rear view mirror. Hid the cable as well, it is completely invisible from the driver's seat which is what I was going for. Video quality sems really good, I had a BlueSkySea B1W in my previous car but this Viofo's much better
For £100 you can get a good front facing viofo or nextbase dashcam. (I have next base). You’re unlikely to get a front & back facing one of high quality for less than £100 however.
Viofo for the Sony Starvis sensors. Redtiger also do good ones, but they're a tad more expensive than viofo. You can get the Viofo ones directly from their shop on AliExpress.
Just installed a Viofo front cam myself, very easy to DIY.
Just bought VIOFO front and rear for my truck.
If you were in any other country, then the 70mai is fine. But in Dubai, with the heat, do not buy a lithium-ion battery dashcam. It’ll overheat and not work after some time. Only get a dashcam with a supercapacitor for this country. VIOFO is one of the few that have this and I can vouch for it. I’ve had both 70mai and VIOFO in my cars.
I prefer the latest VIOFO dash cams. And if the latest model is outside your budget look at the 2k or 1080p versions.
It's a Viofo 2K dash cam. The Radio Doctor installed it for \~$150? Worth every penny.
They've always been pretty good and don't take up a lot of space. I read the new 4k ones can overheat in summer so went with the 2k one as those are more than good enough. Also means file sizes are halved too so you get a lot more recording in your SD card.
1. I got a DDDPAI Z60 pro on my BYD but regret it because 4K is overkill for a dashcam and the software features are just not that well designed. The 1440p Viofo I have on my Civic is way better in terms of usability and features. Both use a Sony starvis sensor so excellent low light quality. 2.Heather Dashcam and Car accessories (Facebook) - I think they have a shop in Marikina but they did a homeservice install for mine. What's cool about them is that they accept installation of dashcams even if you bought it from somewhere else like shopee. Their technician knew his stuff, I asked him a bunch of questions (since I have experience installing dashcams myself). Paid only ₱900 for a hardwire installation via OBD kit, and gave the guy a tip because I could tell he's an expert and did everything with care exactly the way I would install my own dashcam.
