Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
I have the G840. You can use it like a regular mirror if you choose to do so with the same clarity as the stock mirror. If you choose to use the screen, when the truck is off it is extremely low profile. You would have to be looking for the camera on the back to notice it.
I put in a Wolfbox g840 mirror/camera in my truck last year. It records front and rear and gives me a rear view mirror that doesn’t get blocked by stuff in the bed. With primeday this week you should be able to get something for under $150
I got the Wolfbox rearview camera dash been working pretty good and install is really easy
I personally run the WolfBox mirror dashcam. Digital rear view mirror and it records front and rear. IMO was worth the $200
I constantly tell people… Get a dashcam ASAP! I personally have the WolfBox mirror dash camera and I love it. https://preview.redd.it/3dezwir5sceg1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d055a77d24751b6c7afff551ddb3881257783bfa
Wolfbox (digital rear view mirror). Tucked wiring under the headliner, ran down driver side pillar behind fuse box. You can't see the wiring at all.
I just purchased the WolfBox rear view mirror camera, easy to install and with backup camera, and so far, it’s done great. Comes with long enough cables for hardwired, but I did my own electrical upgrades so I don’t use the cigarette lighter port, or whatever they are called now. I also added more length to the back up camera wire to properly hide it. I have a 2012 CRV
Wolfbox rear view mirror camera and front is the way to go
It may not be for everyone but I absolutely love my Wolfbox rear-view mirror dash cam. It attaches over the rear-view mirror, with the front camera sticking out over the edge of the mirror, and has a rear cam you run to the back of the vehicle.
Also Canadian, one year into owning it (PHEV ultimate), love mt Tucson. My dealership seems pretty good, but I haven't needed anything from them. Supposedly they're one of the top rated dealerships, according to the sales guy I dealt with, and they work to maintain that. Heated/ventilated seats have been awesome, they work as well as I'd expect them to. Wouldn't want a car without them now. No dashcam, but that's okay, I prefer my Wolfbox, which is a rearview mirror video camera, fits overtop of the regular mirror, has a forward facing camera as well.
Most cars have a fuse panel relatively accessible in the interior. You can get a [piggy-back fuse power line](https://www.summitracing.com/parts/pco-0956pt?seid=srese1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwh5vFBhCyARIsAHBx2wykOszvkIAr22BZLMZWXPoAKWMD4MDTB8V8F_AIHusiqxjHRi_L7XsaAhVbEALw_wcB) and find a fuse that is only powered on with the ignition switch. 2 months ago I installed one of those Wolfbox video rearview mirror dashcams and have been thrilled with the performance.
