WOLFBOX - G850

Just installed a Wolfbox into my buddy's 2024 hatch. It's a dashcam mirror that attaches to your stock mirror. Works great.

To add more to it, He went with the Wolfbox G850 The resolution is great, the mirror itself is pretty responsive and it's a clear picture on both front and rear cameras. Also has different customization options as well, very neat camera and very easy to install. Just in case you or anyone else reading this wants to install (using the always-on harness) for the 22-24 Civic, you'll have to use fuse ports 45 for Accessories and 50 for Constant On Power. I presume 2025-2026 Civics should be the same as well

Both use the same rear camera, but the 900 claims higher resolution. So basically it's upscaling the rear camera whereas the 850 isn't. So the 900 has more processing/software. That's about it. These types of systems are weird for that. The whole point is the rear camera and the one thing they won't truly upgrade is the rear camera.

The 840s is the older build. Not sure on the front camera quality. I asked Wolfbox direct for clarification on the WDR camera and they stated the 840s and 930 use the older rear camera while the 850 and 900 use the newer WDR camera. Couldn't tell you real world performance as I've only used the 850 which I'm going to swap for the 850 pro since the price is rather similar and it's basically an upgraded 840h.

i’ve been super happy with my wolfbox for $100 from amazon. it’s a rearview camera replacement that doubles as a digital rearview. front and rear recording. fwiw i went with the 10” because i thought 12” would be too wide. i like the size.

Slightly off topic with this, but I also love this dashcam because the rear camera helps me know when I’m clear to switch lanes especially if I need to do it with what some would say “less space than ideal”

I use a WolfBox Mirror dash cam. Front and rear with digital rear view mirror. I love mine, and it has 24/7 parking mode too. 10/10 for $200. (I did have to hardwire it into the car with 2 fuse taps but wasn’t to hard)

Wolfbox (digital rear view mirror). Tucked wiring under the headliner, ran down driver side pillar behind fuse box. You can't see the wiring at all.

Really like the mirror wolfbox I installed. It can be turned off while driving (the screen) and the mirror is reflective enough to use as a regular mirror. All the bells and whistles are useful too. Connects easily through wifi via the app.

Got the mirror Wolfbox on my S. Looks great (inconspicuous) and works great.

Not at all, great visibility and keeps it all very clean! No need to have a bulky camera attached to the windshield. Backup camera is decent and activates when you go into reverse… huge screen for it is a plus. When you turn the screen off the mirror works as a mirror like normal.

I have a Wolfbox mirror screen that does rear and front view and the because it's a rear view screen, I get a better view, don't have to look through heads and gear and get a wider FOV.  It's great. I love it. Probably $120 for the whole kit and 4k everything I think
