$50 70mai in the front, 2017 $50 Yi in the back. The Yi is way better I just picked up an extra one in case my 70mai acts up again. I ran a really long cable to the center console for the rear camera. For the front camera I used a dongar brand harness that splits the power from the rear view dimming mirror.

I have a YI cam and a galphi in my wife's car. They work well, have good image quality. Whatever you do buy, make sure you get a high endurance SD card. Because dash cams are constantly write and overwrite on the card, it abuses the storage. High endurance cards are designed to be constantly used.

I’ve had Aukey, Yi and BlackVue none have had any issues in winter. Keep in mind the interior of your vehicle isn’t going to equal the temp outside unless you have some significant air leakage. My BlackVue has been installed when exterior temps have been -38°C (air temp not windchill) and over 40°C (air temp not humidity).

I have had the yi dashcam for 5+ years in both of my vehicles. The battery needs to be replaced on one but it still works without it, just doesn't keep accurate date/time.
