"I drive a lot at night, and the interior camera does a great job capturing clear footage"
"It has an interior camera that can capture both inside the car and the side windows, which help cover the sides of your vehicle."
"I thought the VanTrue N4 Pro was a great choice ... I can see where the 3 channel inside the vehicle camera would be great for a 20 something who might have to deal with someone lying about them being on their phone while driving."

"Self installed front and back cams in about 20 minutes."
"The whole setup is pretty easy ... No need to do a hard wire if you don't want to, and it looks clean with no wires hanging."

"I’ve been rocking a vantrue n4 pro for two years now and it’s still going strong, no glitches, no BS, just keeps chugging along."
"more than 1 1/2 years too - no issues at all! ... Very satisfied with it."
"I’ve been using the Vantrue N4 Pro for about a year and a half now. ... Never really “maintained” it or anything just letting it do its thing. ... When it dies, I’ll replace it. Simple as that."

"Only one (last year at least) that does simultaneous dual exposure recording you can read license plates at night. ... Anything else is a toy that will get you a recording of what happened but you won't be able to read the license plate to track them down."
"crispy road footage as a backup in case some shenanigans happens"

"It actually saved me recently from a hit and run with the parking mode, lady scratched the hell out of my door and it got her license plate."
"With parking mode enabled (hardwire kit required), it covers most situations."
"G-shock sensor was a must and thus it needed to be hard wired (which is relatively easy)."

"Only flaw is that it doesn’t upload to a cloud, to get the footage on it you either need to take out the SD card or be within a 6 food radius of it to access the files through the app on your phone."

"the N4 Pro is just super large."
I have a Vantrue N4 Pro (3ch) in my car and a Baseus VD1 Pro (2ch) in my wife. If it’s your first time getting a dashcam, I’d recommend the VD1 Pro since it’s a nice balance of price/quality/easy setup. Some cheaper dashcams only record in interpolated 4K, which looks blurry compared to true 4K. Within this price range, the most important thing is to make sure the one you get has good build quality and clear recording.
I have the Vantrue N4 Pro in my Tacoma and an N4 (non Pro) in my wife's 2025 Nissan Leaf. The Pro has wifi capabilities in which you can access the footage via the app. The whole setup is pretty easy, and I wired both vehicles using The Dongar adapters that connect at the rear view mirror (most newish cars have power of some sort in the mirror). YouTube was a good resource for the truck, but hardly nothing for the Leaf, so I had to put on the ol thinking cap. No need to do a hard wire if you don't want to, and it looks clean with no wires hanging. The Dongar usually runs about $30, just make sure you know what pin type you need. Even running the wires under the overhead liner for the rear camera is super easy.

I’ve been using the Vantrue N4 Pro 4K 3 Channel Dash Cam for a few years and have faced no issues whatsoever. It actually saved me recently from a hit and run with the parking mode, lady scratched the hell out of my door and it got her license plate. Only flaw is that it doesn’t upload to a cloud, to get the footage on it you either need to take out the SD card or be within a 6 food radius of it to access the files through the app on your phone.
Have a vantrue N4 Pro on 1 car and a redtiger in another. No complaints on either.
Check Vantrue cams they are on sale for black Friday. I installed the N4Pro on my mom's SUV and I have the Element pro on my truck been using them for about a year now with no issues. Both dash cams record at 4k
I used Vantrue N4 pro w/ its hardwiring kit within a week I got my mk8 gti. Super worth it, as shared earlier in a post when my 1st 10k service ended up with a tech backing the car into a tow hitch and got caught on the 3-way front/back/in-cabin cameras. Dealer had no chance of denying ; fixed the tiny ding properly via my choice of body shop. Hardwiring is easy to do w/ a multimeter to probe ignition only positions vs low voltage positions after switching off. 1.5yrs in now, no issue w/ battery drainage. Not worth it. Get a high end 4k dash cam. I have a 3 channel dash cam (vantrue n4, 3 channel) that was $350-400 NEW. Put in the time and labor to hardwire it ($90) and you have something WAY less expensive than the dealership charge. F that. Buy aftermarket and get what you need, a 3 channel dash cam. Saved my buttore than once.
Any dashcam that you can afford. I bought my van true n4 3 channel dash cam when it was the newest. Worth the money. Got my dad one as well. It's worth getting something to protect yourself. Just buy the best you can and upgrade later.
Vantru N4 pro… 3 channel recording…
I have a Vantrue N4pro and Viofo A229. Genuinely this post is so great to create visibility to the general audience of how useful a dashcam really is. I hope it goes to someone who really needs it. A dashcam is truly a need with how driving has gotten.
1) Viofo A129 Pro 2) 70mai A800 SE 3) Vantrue N4 Pro 4) Qubo Hero Pro I have these 4 in my cars. My favorite app to use is Qubo, it’s very user friendly and it’s a breeze to set up and get it running. My favorite image quality is Vantrue, it’s pristine and read things super clear, day and night. My best VFM has to be 70mai tho because the Vantrue is nice but pricey and 70mai does 90% of the stuff for a fraction of the cost. Hope this helps ☺️ Edit: I would also suggest getting front and back. It’s more peace of mind. You’ll have more evidence and more angles covered.
