I have the same one, list the instructions and for the life of me cannot setup the automatic timer any more. I have everything set like I thought i used to but always wake up to no coffe and having to push it manually.

Yes and yes. No warming plate and a pretty good insulated carafe. Have have had one of these for a few years now. For the money, really solid.

Black and Decker 12 cup CM2035B Coffee Maker As close to 2016 you could go into Walmart and get the medium/cheap option of a coffee maker and it still be incredible value. My roommate’s and I got this for $60 in 2016 and used it DAILY. Most days it was used for 18-24 hours. Once we all moved out I gave it to my FiL and he has kept it going great. Just used today to make some coffee and wow it’s still working great!

Previously used my French press all the time, could probably count the times I’ve used it on one hand over the past 5 years. Got a black and decker programmable 12 cup for less than $50, has been working great… if I remember to set it up the night before.

I've had my Black & Decker 12-cup programmable for 15 or 20 years.

My Black & Decker 12-cup drip coffeemaker has a couple of decades service in. The stainless steel French press I take camping should survive until the end of time.

Get a basic Black and Decker coffee pot and a good brand of coffee. For two cups a day you sure don't need a Rolls royce of coffee. Bunch of coffee nerds with too much time and money on this question.
