Same though I have the glass carafe. I know that people love the thermal version but I've read that the glass is easier to clean, and I drink my coffee fresh so I don't need the carafe to keep it warm.

I’m on my second Bonavita drip machine, and both have been glass carafe versions with the hot plate. I find it kind of annoying that the hot plate turns off as quickly as it does (feels like less than an hour) but it is nice that it doesn’t just stay on indefinitely. Eventually I do want to get a Moccamaster.

I've got a Bonavita drip coffee maker (glass carafe) that's we've been using daily for the past ... 11 years. Last year I dropped the glass carafe in the sink and broke it 😞 and we looked into getting a Moccamaster, but my husband didn't like it and thought it was flimsy haha. We bought a replacement carafe meant for pour over and have kept on trucking with the Bonavita.

I bought the Bonavita 8 cup brewer and I've had it for a few years, thing runs great and makes good coffee but a little pricey for a drip coffee machine.

I’m currently using the Moccamaster + Baratza Virtuoso, but used the much cheaper, but comparably excellent Bonavita 8 cup coffee maker for 10+ years with zero maintenance.  If I wasnt a fool and instead descaled it every 100 or so uses, it would still be going strong.  It was a superb option but I see it has climbed up in price now. Just get the moccamaster on sale.

Second the Baratza Encore grinder. We have that and use a Bonavita 8 Cup Drip Coffee Maker Machineto make our coffee. Both are several years old and we have had 0 issues, and they make excellent coffee.

I have a Bonavita 8 cup and it's great. I was wanting to move away from espresso and I really enjoy my Clever Coffee Dripper but wanted to make a larger volume. My intention was to buy the Moccamaster but I didn't want to invest that much of the rest of the family didn't like drip so I opted for the Bonavita. I thought I'd everyone likes it I'll invest in the Moccamaster but the results are so great I can't justify the change.
