honestly i feel you, the coffee maker market is overwhelming now. my last one died too and i just wanted something basic. the Bonavita Metropolitan is right at $100 and does one thing well - makes hot water evenly over grounds. no timers or screens to deal with. the showerhead design is solid and the carafe keeps coffee hot without a burner. i'd avoid Ninja or Cuisinart if you want simple, they pack in too many extras. [Bonavita Metropolitan](https://featherab.com/shopit?search_keywords=Bonavita+Metropolitan+drip+coffee+maker) is what i switched to and cleaning takes maybe 30 seconds.

been there with the option overload. for that budget the [Bonavita Metropolitan](https://featherab.com/shopit?search_keywords=Bonavita+Metropolitan) is probably your answer. its one button no programming no timers just hot water and good showerhead design. got one for my mom who hates complicated gadgets and shes been using it daily for two years now. easy to clean too since the carafe lid comes apart and the basket is simple. ninja and cuisinart add too many features you dont need. bonavita just focuses on the basics.

Bonavita. One button drip coffee, generally very good quality

I had a Bonavita, traded up to a Moccamaster, and a few months later, went back to the Bonavita. Don't believe the hype.

I have one of these and it's still going strong after a decade of use. The thermal carafe is nice. Keeps coffee hot for a long time and doesn't burn it because there's no heating element. It has one button on it, so operation couldn't be easier.

I've had 2 Bona Vita 8 cups. Both eventually stopped finishing their brew cycle mid-way, so I bit the bullet and bought a Moccamaster which will last for life.

Hey, I have this same coffee maker. It sucks. I'm using it as a placeholder until I can decide on a decent automatic / forever option. My Bonavita lasted 6 years before petering out and dying. Great coffee consistently. Now I'm trying to decide between a moccamaster and a decent breville, possibly the Braun multi serve or Oxo 12 cup.

Bonavita 8-Cup. Makes genuinely good coffee, one button, thermal carafe. Been my daily driver for 2 years

Bonavita 8 cup drip is what I settled on. It has an on button.

This. I don’t own one any more but it lasted 8 years until I gave it to my parents and bought something different. Still running. Easy to use. Easy to clean.
