I have a keurig, aeropress, espresso maker, French press, and moka pot. My keurig has collected lots of dust. My French press hasn't come out of the cabinet in a year. My aeropress is my go to for travel, but my daily driver is the moka pot. Takes a couple minutes on my stove to and I get a beautiful cross between espresso and coffee. The espresso maker was a gift and I love it but my husband hates cleaning it so it's a hassle unless we are entertaining and playing barista for a crowd. If you want an automatic coffee maker that will have it hot and ready when you step into your kitchen already, my grandparents have a Cuisinart with an insulated carafe that has been going strong for 3 pots a day for many years. One of their kids have them a new one this christmas which they live as much as the old one which now lives in their camper permanently.
r/BuyItForLife • What is the Best Coffee Makers on the Market? ->I have a Cuisinart 12-cup that’s been used almost daily for at least 12 years, maybe longer? Got it as a work anniversary gift from the company points program. In contrast, my mom went through three Mr. Coffee 4-cup makers in that same amount of time.
r/Frugal • I’ve been using this coffee pot for 10 years ->Honestly? Something like a Cuisinart or Breville or Ninja is just fine for her. A Moccamaster or an Aiden are absurd, terrible recommendations for someone who doesn't care that much about coffee, lol. That's like buying a Pappy Van Winkle for someone who only drinks Bud Light, or a Traeger for a vegetarian. If they aren't into coffee, they're not gonna care about "SCA certified" or any of that quality stuff. In fact, they probably care more about how it looks, how fast it brews coffee, and maybe some of the other bells and whistles attached like a programmable timer. Don't spend money on something that's purely built for quality coffee; spend on the features instead.
r/JamesHoffmann • What would be the best drip coffee machine? ->The Cuisinart is a good, reasonably priced unit. We've had ours for over 5 years, making a pot per day plus some pods, and it's still kickin'. The only thing we've replaced is the carafe after it was dropped.
r/BuyItForLife • What coffee machine combo (pot and single serve), would you recommend? ->I have been very pleased with my KitchenAid drip coffee maker the past two years. Just prior I tried Cuisinart, OXO, and Braun and was not happy with the coffee flavor and other features like size/configuration. The KA brew is very tasty imo and since it is programmable, I come downstairs every morning to the smell of a fresh pot. It has stainless trim and a sleek glass carafe so it looks nice on the counter as well.
r/BuyItForLife • Looking for a solid drip coffee maker. ->Cuisinart drip maker from Costco with the giant tub of pre-ground Folgers. BIFL with cash left over. After decades with people who have to have hand-ground organic coffee grown from the droppings of Antarctic fairies and brewed by free-range locally steamed orphan tears, I’m glad to be able to drink coffee and get on with it. Our grandparents knew a few things.
r/BuyItForLife • Need a Coffee Maker Recommendation Under $100 CAD ->I have a cuisinart and it’s great
r/Costco • CHEFMAN Drip Coffee Maker, any reviews? ->We have a Cuisinart coffee maker. It's our second one after the old old one failed. Makes the best coffee. It's so good, we see in many tv programs' kitchen or office. Now there's just two of us. We still have the Cuisinart but our daily consumption is only one or two cups a day. So we use a Keurig. But we use reusable plastic pods. I buy good ground coffee and spend much less than the K pods.
r/BuyItForLife • Best device to make a pot of coffee? ->We had a Cuisinart before buying a Moccamaster. Cuisinart is a spray and pray coffeemaker. Moccamaster makes a much better cup of coffee.
r/BuyItForLife • Is a Moccamaster worth it if one isn't a huge detailed coffee person? ->I have an automatic $40 Cuisinart from Costco that takes the Melitta cone filters - been great for about 10 years of daily use now. It has a bold setting that drips in a little bit of water, rests, then puts the rest in.
r/BuyItForLife • Basic carafe drip coffee maker to pair with a separate grinder? ->I’d recommend the cuisinart one if they have it
r/Costco • CHEFMAN Drip Coffee Maker, any reviews? ->Ive had a Cuisinart for years and it still works perfectly. Nothing fancy but reliable and easy to clean.
r/BuyItForLife • What is the best drip coffee maker currently in the market? ->bought 2 cuisnart's but each guest broke the carafe and it got costly so replaced with a MR coffee an wouldn't you know that machine has lasted 3 + years, easy to clean and use. no problems or complaints
r/airbnb_hosts • Best coffee maker for guests PLEASE DON'T SAY KEURIG ->I was also disappointed with my cuisinart coffee maker and grinder. I have been happy with a breville precision brewer and baratza encore grinder since switching a couple years ago.
r/Coffee • I’m done with Cuisinart ->Melitta used to make a grind and brew that had a timer on it. I had it set to do its thing at 8:05am before I came to the office. They no longer make it. Cuisinart may be your best bet now as you just want fresh ground/brewed coffee. They all make a pot, and you do have to add water the night before and you can get what you want for $100 bucks or so. Throw out what you don’t drink. Otherwise you sound like a Keurig sort of person. Certainly not needing to spend the big $$ on a semi or super auto.
r/superautomatic • Coffee (not espresso) machine question… ->Cuisinart 15 years old coffee every day.
r/BuyItForLife • Looking for a coffee machine that lasts forever ->Agreed. The first cup tastes okay but it declines quickly. My old Cuisinart drip coffee maker is now decommissioned in favor of an espresso machine and V60 setup, but if I ever go back to coffee makers, it'll be one that brews into an insulated carafe.
r/Coffee • This feature of drip coffee makers annoys the everliving sh*t out of me ->We have a 10-15 year old Cuisinart drip machine that gets daily use. No problems, less money
r/BuyItForLife • Is a Moccamaster worth it if one isn't a huge detailed coffee person? ->Under no circumstances should you get a Keurig. I finally got a Moccamaster after years of a cuisinart drip and it has made some the best coffee I’ve had. I also have a chemex and a French press. It really comes down to what kind of coffee you like
r/BuyItForLife • What is the Best Coffee Makers on the Market? ->For me, it was noticeable. Only complaint I have is with our cuisinart it had a timer to turn on, not so with the moccamaster but I just get it set up the night before and flip the switch before I shower.
r/BuyItForLife • What is the Best Coffee Makers on the Market? ->I have a Hamilton beach going on 9 years (does K cups and single ground coffee by the cup), a Cuisinart going on 20 that always makes a decent pot, a 35 year old Krupps espresso maker (these are my corded units). I have a French Press (no cord) that just keeps going. I have a bialetti (no cord) that keeps going. I have an original Aeropress -the year they came out (no cord--travel to non coffee places--think China off the grid). These work for me. keurigs break---when I got each of these I researched them at the time for returns, company track record etc.....
r/BuyItForLife • What is the Best Coffee Makers on the Market? ->My Cuisinart is 22 years old, was very well regarded at the time for taste. It's still going strong.
r/BuyItForLife • Moccamaster Coffee Brewer ->Buying something today--right now --no one can say. Brand names with long standing reputations change over time..... I can say I have a Cuisinart drip machine that's over 20 years old. Moccamaster is well regarded still but will either of those, that I buy today be around in 20 years----don't know.
r/BuyItForLife • Coffee maker - Once and for all ->This doesn't seem no frills, and "$100 off" means it costs more than 100. Doesn't look breakable tho. Mine cost like 120 but that was 15 years ago. Cuisinart. You have to grind your own beans or buy pre ground. I can't break it
r/BuyItForLife • UPDATE: 2 weeks ago I asked "What's the best no-frills coffee maker", and after 400+ recommendations, I bought my mom the Moccamaster ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
