For 2026, stick with reliable drip machines like the Cuisinart PerfecTemp or Mr. Coffee programmable models. They're easy to clean, consistent, and cheap to maintain 👌
r/JamesHoffmann • What are the best coffee makers for 2026? ->I’ve had mine for 12 years and always recommend it
r/workingmoms • What’s the best coffee makers if you care more about durability than fancy features? ->Same. This is really reliable and consistently brews a really good pot fast. We descale every few months, maybe 3x year if I’m good about it.
r/workingmoms • What’s the best coffee makers if you care more about durability than fancy features? ->This is what we bought last year when our 10 year old KitchenAid was slowly dying (do not take that as an endorsement of KitchenAid lol). We love it!
r/workingmoms • What’s the best coffee makers if you care more about durability than fancy features? ->I have this one. Curious how you deep clean it?
r/workingmoms • What’s the best coffee makers if you care more about durability than fancy features? ->Cuisinart drip programmable coffee machine. Replaced mine last year after 23 years. Mind you, I regularly maintained it and deep cleaned every 3 months
r/workingmoms • What’s the best coffee makers if you care more about durability than fancy features? ->We just replaced our programmable cuisinart coffee maker. It was our trusty machine for about 13 years before the tank cracked and it started leaking. They’re not cheap, over $200, but it grinds and brews, is sturdy, easy to clean, and all I have to buy for it is the beans.
r/workingmoms • What’s the best coffee makers if you care more about durability than fancy features? ->My parents love their Bunn that I think they've had for about 20 years now. They use it every single day. My Cusinart from facebook marketplace for $10, has also been a good purchase :D
r/BuyItForLife • What’s the best coffee maker you guys have used?? ->Honestly? Something like a Cuisinart or Breville or Ninja is just fine for her. A Moccamaster or an Aiden are absurd, terrible recommendations for someone who doesn't care that much about coffee, lol. That's like buying a Pappy Van Winkle for someone who only drinks Bud Light, or a Traeger for a vegetarian. If they aren't into coffee, they're not gonna care about "SCA certified" or any of that quality stuff. In fact, they probably care more about how it looks, how fast it brews coffee, and maybe some of the other bells and whistles attached like a programmable timer. Don't spend money on something that's purely built for quality coffee; spend on the features instead.
r/JamesHoffmann • What would be the best drip coffee machine? ->I have been very pleased with my KitchenAid drip coffee maker the past two years. Just prior I tried Cuisinart, OXO, and Braun and was not happy with the coffee flavor and other features like size/configuration. The KA brew is very tasty imo and since it is programmable, I come downstairs every morning to the smell of a fresh pot. It has stainless trim and a sleek glass carafe so it looks nice on the counter as well.
