My parents love their Bunn that I think they've had for about 20 years now. They use it every single day. My Cusinart from facebook marketplace for $10, has also been a good purchase :D

I have been very pleased with my KitchenAid drip coffee maker the past two years. Just prior I tried Cuisinart, OXO, and Braun and was not happy with the coffee flavor and other features like size/configuration. The KA brew is very tasty imo and since it is programmable, I come downstairs every morning to the smell of a fresh pot. It has stainless trim and a sleek glass carafe so it looks nice on the counter as well.

i really love my cuisinart one. it's not smart but it has the ability to set a timer to brew in the morning automatically. My parents have the same one and have had it for at least 15 years. I've had mine for about 5 so far. Neither have had any issues

We have a Cuisinart coffee maker. It's our second one after the old old one failed. Makes the best coffee. It's so good, we see in many tv programs' kitchen or office. Now there's just two of us. We still have the Cuisinart but our daily consumption is only one or two cups a day. So we use a Keurig. But we use reusable plastic pods. I buy good ground coffee and spend much less than the K pods.

We had a Cuisinart before buying a Moccamaster. Cuisinart is a spray and pray coffeemaker. Moccamaster makes a much better cup of coffee.

Ive had a Cuisinart for years and it still works perfectly. Nothing fancy but reliable and easy to clean.

All of the stirring of the grounds, filter pre-wetting is not necessary IMHO and I'm certainly not knocking anyone that does to get a cup they enjoy. Once you get your grind level dialed, your Mocca will give you a very consistent good cup of coffee. I have a Baratza Encore with the grind set at 22 (Dark and Medium Roast) and found that 1 scoop (2Tbsp) per 200ML water gives me the taste I enjoy. This is less than what Moccamaster recommends. Full pot = 6 scoops, half = 3 scoops and To-Go cup = 2 scoops (400ML). I also do not use the half pot setting as it slows the water flow for brewing and changes the temperature of the hotplate. You may experience a bitter or burnt taste with this setting. It all depends on your palate. I graduated from Cuisinart about 4 years ago and couldn't be happier. Perhaps there is a better cup with a little more effort. That is up to you when you graduate.

r/JamesHoffmannWhat are the best coffee makers worth buying the MOST out there?

Most importantly in drip makers is that the water temp reaches 195-202 and that it’s a cone style filter with drip system w multiple sprays (like pour over). Moccamaster has been known as the standard here, but I’ve found that the Cuisinart brewers now have this as well. For under $100.
