I used a Mr Coffee 12 cup for years and it broke on me the other day. I ended up buying a Ninja Dual Brew for $100. It’s awesome, I love it. You can make a full pot of coffee or you can use the single cup function (Keurig style). I bought a reusable k cup so I’m not wasting plastic and I can use my own fancy beans. I mostly make one cup at a time - it brews the coffee so fast and it’s so good! You can also just have it brew hot water for tea super fast.
r/homeowners • What’s the best coffee makers for saving money instead of buying daily coffee out? ->Ditto Mr Coffee 12 cup is going strong 4yrs later
r/BuyItForLife • What's the best no-frills coffee maker? ->For 2026, stick with reliable drip machines like the Cuisinart PerfecTemp or Mr. Coffee programmable models. They're easy to clean, consistent, and cheap to maintain 👌
r/JamesHoffmann • What are the best coffee makers for 2026? ->American who visited family in Poland: why do y'all use that instant coffee stuff where you add a spoonful to a cup of hot water? It's like the worst way of having a coffee. At minimum do yourself a favor and get a Mr.Coffee or a French Press.
r/AskEurope • How do you make coffee? ->We have had the absolute cheapest Mr Coffee drip 12 cup pot for 7+ years. I keep saying I’m going to upgrade us to something fancier when it breaks, but it’s too simple to break!
r/workingmoms • What’s the best coffee makers if you care more about durability than fancy features? ->Mr. Coffee with an automatic drip... All Bloodhound Gang jokes aside, I got one before that song came out. I had a great cup out of it just now. The carafe broke back in the early 2000s due to my own gross negligence, and I got a replacement for the cost of shipping from them. After WW3 there's going to be cockroaches, twinkies, and these mr coffee tanks
r/BuyItForLife • Best device to make a pot of coffee? ->Pour over or French press. If you want an electric drip machine, Mr. Coffee is no frill and lasts for eons. A moka pot is the answer for stronger espresso drinks.
r/BuyItForLife • Looking for a coffee machine that lasts forever ->A classic drip coffee maker like the Mr Coffee 12-Cup or Technivorm Moccamaster, both simple, one-button, no-frills, and make excellent black coffee that’ll last for years.
