Shark makes a specialty coffee and tea brewer that offers multiple brew sizes. Ours does a small cup up to a full 12 cup carafe. You just adjust the brew size and how many grounds you put in. We use it daily! We make a half pot in the morning, and then brew single cups throughout the day if we’re working from home. I also often make a cup of tea at night. We just use Folgers in it and it’s a way better value than using pods. It is very similar to this one: https://a.co/d/0eNIvcms As far as BIFL, we have had ours for 6 years and have only needed to replace the tea filter when our daughter accidentally threw it away.
Just adding other things I appreciate about it. I love having the option to do a full pot when we’re hosting. We love offering decaf with dessert! We use paper filters, so clean up is super easy. The water reservoir can make quite a few single serve cups without being refilled. The tea filter is completely separate from the coffee filter, so when I make tea in it it doesn’t have the stale coffee water taste. Depending on the type of tea it adjusts the steeping time, so it’s always a perfect cup.
I'm a fan of our hot/ cold ninja auto drip. Still enjoy pour over on some weekends.
I have a Ninja machine that makes both espresso and drip coffee, and has a steamer built in to froth milk. It makes such good drinks that it’s taken the enjoyment out of cafe coffee. “We have fancy lattes at home!” But it was not cheap ($500+?). I chose it because that brand sells parts - if it does break, I won’t have to buy a whole new machine
I like my Ninja coffee maker, they make a few different models but mine has a removable reservoir and lets me choose the drink size. I don't use it a ton, but if you're buying one anyway I'd also look at moccamaster. Not sure if they'll have what you want but it'd probably make better coffee.
I got the Ninja at Costco. You can either make a whole pot, or make single cups with a k-cup.
Try the Ninja Coffeemaker, I love mine it's not huge and I've had it for 6 years with no issues. I clean it every other month and as I have hard well water. The only downside is if you have low cabinets over where you place the coffeemaker, the vented steam from the lid might cause issues. I just pull mine forward when brewing.
Idk I swear by my Ninja coffeemaker after Mr. Coffee and other name brands failed after a year or so of purchase. Going on 6 plus years now, with only one water leak that I was able to resolve by clearing out the water inlet, as long as I clean it regularly my coffee never tastes bad. Even using ground Aribica coffee from BJs club, it tastes good enough for me.
