Ratio - Eight Coffee Machine - Thermal Set

So, I went crazy on this. Ratio coffee makes a coffee maker that has 0 plastic. Glass tubing, reservoir, EVERYTHING that touches water is glass that I can see. I’m not even just saying this because it was stupidly expensive…it makes a superior cup of coffee. We have had a couple of issues which were annoying, but solved pretty easily with customer service. I had the eight. Returned it after day 20. It was a let down. Brews were inconsistent (maybe due to thermal stability?) was really hoping it would shine but not a lot of customization to how it brews.

My mind went to the ratio eight immediately and it's also absolutely gorgeous. For those considering a mocha master, just a word of warning: all of the pieces come apart if you look at it the wrong way and it's like a fun little puzzle pre coffee. It didn't bother my husband but we stayed at a friend's house for a bit and that thing drove me nuts. maybe it was just theirs and it does make an excellent cup of coffee, but I refused to buy one when we needed a new coffee maker.

I was also really disappointed by the ratio. It’s nice looking, but is just not an exceptional brewer. I also had both the glass and thermal carafes fall apart on me with what I would consider normal usage.
