I had a small zojirusi coffee maker for years (four cup model that they don't make anymore) and it was great. One switch, held up well

We've had the most basic Zojirushi cone drip maker for almost 20 years. Everytime we buy something more expensive or fancy, I end up bringing the Zoji back. Quick, hot coffee, in a steel carafe with no bottom burner, so it doesn't burn or need to be turned off. Piping hot at the start and the carafe keeps it warm for hours.

Zojirushi is very solid

My Zojirushi is a beast. Not one issue in 5 years of daily use.

Have the same one, can’t recommend it enough. Especially if you need your coffee to start before you wake up.

I adore my Moccamaster. I have practically every coffee gadget known to man. Ok, not really...but it's close. Chemex, V60, French press, moka pot, percolator, Aeropress. I feel like I'm missing a few... I had a Zojirushi drip maker for years that made a perfectly adequate cup every morning before work. The other ways were reserved for weekends. I can use the Moccamaster as a pure drip machine and get a really good cup of coffee. Or I can babysit a bit more like a Chemex and get a GREAT cup of coffee.
