Zojirushi dome brew A bit expensive for a simple drip machine but in my experience it brews at 200c consistently
There are some coffee makers that are not SCA certified that come close or pretty much meet the specs. Like the Ninja 12-Cup, or the Zojirushi 5-cup and 12-cup options. However, I agree, the rest mostly not great because they don't get hot enough.
Zojirushi is very solid
My Zojirushi is a beast. Not one issue in 5 years of daily use.
Have the same one, can’t recommend it enough. Especially if you need your coffee to start before you wake up.
I adore my Moccamaster. I have practically every coffee gadget known to man. Ok, not really...but it's close. Chemex, V60, French press, moka pot, percolator, Aeropress. I feel like I'm missing a few... I had a Zojirushi drip maker for years that made a perfectly adequate cup every morning before work. The other ways were reserved for weekends. I can use the Moccamaster as a pure drip machine and get a really good cup of coffee. Or I can babysit a bit more like a Chemex and get a GREAT cup of coffee.
I second the Zojirushi, stays warm forever too
I have a Zojirushi. Makes good coffee, brews into a thermos and stays hot all day.
I was debating between this and the zojirushi about 20 years ago. Bought the zojirushi, love it but still wish I got the technivorm.
