makhayThere are some coffee makers that are not SCA certified that come close or pretty much meet the specs. Like the Ninja 12-Cup, or the Zojirushi 5-cup and 12-cup options. However, I agree, the rest mostly not great because they don't get hot enough.
singeworthyI have a Zojirushi 12 cup, and have had it for almost 10 years now. Still brews at a high temp, and works the way it did when I bought it. I love the idea of the Moccamaster but we use the program feature daily and Moccamaster does not have that. The design is user friendly and pretty easy to clean. I only have had to replace the carafe because I smashed it, but the replacement part was easy to get so no problem.

ad5316Zojirushi makes the best drip coffee & you can replace individual parts if needed. Have had mine since 2017 and its still going strong. Timer options so it brews automatically in the morning is also helpful so you can just get up and go without worrying about making it in the morning.

Formal_Change7297I adore my Moccamaster. I have practically every coffee gadget known to man. Ok, not really...but it's close. Chemex, V60, French press, moka pot, percolator, Aeropress. I feel like I'm missing a few... I had a Zojirushi drip maker for years that made a perfectly adequate cup every morning before work. The other ways were reserved for weekends. I can use the Moccamaster as a pure drip machine and get a really good cup of coffee. Or I can babysit a bit more like a Chemex and get a GREAT cup of coffee.
