betafpv air75. 65 will be hard to fly outside when theres wind
r/fpv • Best Beginner TinyWhoop 2025? ->Get the air75. U can fly it better outside. Its fun to fly it around inside too. Sure, the 65 will make it feel like u have more space compare to when flying air75. But what u can do is too throttle cut the air75 to around 75-80% so its not as "strong" compare to when its at 100%. Try it, its fun https://preview.redd.it/8qg6d1mf0qoe1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1950a28c4ddb20c8589495e1bda494b46b79fb80 I fly this air75 around the legs lol
r/fpv • Best Beginner TinyWhoop 2025? ->Or betafpv Air65….
r/fpv • Is it possible to get a decent beginner FPV setup for $300 or less? ->Yeah no doubt it’s just not beginner friendly depending where you live as it over 250g hence I’m advising something smaller and cheaper but yes, that 5 inch would be a blast to fly!
r/fpv • Is it possible to get a decent beginner FPV setup for $300 or less? ->Betafpv air65 or air75. The frame is more durable and should be the lightest frame for whoop.
r/TinyWhoop • Best long range and heavy duty 1s whoop for semi beginner in fpv? ->Slight counter-arguments: Beginner doesn't mean cheap. Of course it naturally makes sense to go for cheap on the thing that you are going to fly around and inevitably crash and break, but for the goggles, it may be a better choice to invest in a premium set of analogue goggles. You get better vision and should you want to exit the hobby if you decide it isn't for you, you're still able to sell them with very little depreciation as there are many people who've purchased cheap goggles that are looking to upgrade. Buying a premium radio isn't going to enhance too much of your experience at the start, so I'd agree with your choice, but the goggles will, so while the ev800d's are certainly a good choice on the cheaper end, looking at something like the Skyzone O4X or Pros may be worth going for. Alternatively, one might consider investing in the HDZero goggles with a full analogue setup as this will then give them options to fly HDZero in the future without any additional large purchases, or another option could be to get the DJI Goggles V2 (which are incredibly cheap on ebay), getting the BDI adapter and an analogue module, and then having the option to fly any DJI O3 quad (again without purchases). Analogue on any of these goggles is significantly better than the EV800D's. Indoor tinywhoops I'd also recommend the Air65 at this time. I'd argue that it isn't durable enough, but this is offset by the cost (it's really cheap!) and even if you opted to buy a more durable 65mm (which would probably fly worse and be heavier therefore crash harder), you're still better off just buying the air65 and if it does suffer a catastrophic failure, then buying a new one isn't too bad. Outdoors however, I'd probably recommend getting the Meteor75 Pro. While the Air75 is newer, lighter and probably flies slightly better, the Meteor75 Pro is a fantastic quad, more durable (in my opinion) and the package often comes with a couple of bats, a 1S charger (and more importantly voltage checker), and a few other bits and pieces. The Meteor75 pro can take significant hits and I'd also say that repairing it is easier. The most common issue with the 75Pro is the antenna getting knocked out of the little heatshrink on the VTX and then getting disconnected. I think this is probably a better trade-off than the UFL connector issues that the Air75 has, as well as the canopy being... well... one of those. Maybe they've fixed the UFL issues or maybe they haven't, but still, if I was starting again I'd go for the Meteor75 Pro over the Air75. The only difference would be if I planned to fly both inside and out with it, then I'd go with the Air75. But yeah, to be clear, there's absolutely nothing wrong with your suggestions. They are solid choices!
r/TinyWhoop • best beginner tinywhoop setup ->I have got few 65 tiny whoops: one is Mobula6, one Air65 and one self built with HDZero AIO
r/fpv • Looking for the best contraceptive for drones. Mines are keep multiplying ->I recommend BetaFPV Air 65 if you want a small tiny whoop
r/fpv • Looking for the best contraceptive for drones. Mines are keep multiplying ->My favourite tiny whoop is the Air65. Form 6 that I have, 4 are analog and 2 HDZero. Video quality is a little bit better for HDZero but they run hot 🔥
r/fpv • Looking for the best contraceptive for drones. Mines are keep multiplying ->Mine only took a week
r/TinyWhoop • What is the best drone for beginners in YOUR opinion? ->they’re twenty dollars overpriced on amazon. I went that route and have been flying mine since early December. Buddy ordered his same time direct and he’s still waiting.
r/TinyWhoop • What is the best drone for beginners in YOUR opinion? ->I fly air65 indoors. I think I went with Air75 as it’s lighter and not marketed as a beginner drone really. I felt that I’d spent enough time in the sim and wanted something that’s as zippy as possible.
r/TinyWhoop • Avata 2 owner looking for buying advice for controller/drone ->Great recommendations all around, but I would say spend a bit more and invest in good goggles if you know you will stick to this hobby medium-to-long term. I tried two different low-end cheap box goggles from friends and it made me hesitant to get into analog (started with walksnail). But based on SchizoFPV's recommendation, I got myself a skyzone 04O pro with lumenier axii 2 omni/patch (RHCP) and it makes me want to fly analog everyday! Comfortable, portable, easy to use, and decent DVR (compared to the box goggles). You pay a premium up front but its worth it. I also have the radiomaster pocket and LOVE it. Will get the AG01 gimbles soon to upgrade the sticks. I have all three of the betafpv air65, air75, and meteor75 Pro. They are all AWESOME, and each serve a specific purpose. Air65 is incredibly precise and agile indoors (lower the cam angle and add expo to the rates), air75 is a raaaapid boi and soo much fun doing trippy spins around city architecture, and the meteor75 Pro is a freestyle juggernaut that I cannot wait to dive skyscrapers with come spring time. Don't want to turn this into a shameless self-promotional plug, but if you're curious about the 04O dvr quality and those quads, you can see on my IG page: [https://www.instagram.com/ksauce.fpv](https://www.instagram.com/ksauce.fpv)
r/TinyWhoop • best beginner tinywhoop setup ->I wouldn’t fly a 75 in the house. It’s just not fun and it can break things a lot easier than a 65.
r/fpv • Help me choose my first fpv drone please ->They're a camera company who makes drones. And they're good drones, for cinematography. The Neo is capable of freestyle, but when it comes to freestyle drones I wouldn't rank it as that good, or particularly durable. There are plenty of better options for less money. If you haven't flown acro before id recommend you start with a whoop like the air65.its fairly cheap and lightweight enough that crashing doesn't pose that much of a risk. But if you're willing to spend the money the dji neo will hold your hand with angle mode while you learn how to fly acro. Just be careful not to crash it. Drones like the nazgul or air65 are pretty easy to repair, dji drones not so much.
r/FPVFreestyle • what is the best dji fpv drone for freestyle ->Agreed! Mine took over 5 weeks to arrive.
r/TinyWhoop • What is the best drone for beginners in YOUR opinion? ->You can fly outside with the 65 with no problem, as long as there isnt like a lot of wind.
r/fpv • Best Beginner TinyWhoop 2025? ->as a first drone id go with a betafpv air 65 (indoor focused) or an air 75 (slightly larger for outdoors) with a radiomaster pocket (ELRS variant) and ev800d goggles. 300mah or 450mah 1s batteries for the 65 or 75 respectfully. and a whoopstor 1s charger
r/fpv • Suggestions for a beginner sub-250g drone ->You like it better than the ones with the HDZero AIO5? I don't know whether I do or not. It's certainly better than the Mob6 2024 Eco, because it flies so much better, but I'm really liking the Lux camera on the 2024 Mob6 Freestyle HDZero. Got a couple of them, and find myself flying them more than the Air65.
r/fpv • Looking for the best contraceptive for drones. Mines are keep multiplying ->Its cheaper to buy a bnf then build your own right now, im still in the middle of 3 builds but ya i enjoy building them, you can get a 5" for $150 thats not completely trash on aliexpress and a air65 for $90
r/fpv • Drone Build ->I started on aquila16 about 2 months ago and harvested motors almost immediately, trash drone and batteries are useless. Just get a meteor 75 or 65, not the air unless you know your willing to solder. I started with 0 sim time and only have about 10 hours in, i also dont care if i break my drones flying them so i do break allot. Buildings half the fun for me
r/fpv • Drone Build ->Air 65 or meteor 75 pro
r/fpv • Help me choose my first fpv drone please ->2s is not necessary for a 65 or 75 build, at all. Just buy an Air65 or 75 w/elrs for $100, get 1s 350mah(for the 65)/550mah(for the 75), Whoopstor v2, Radiomaster pocket elrs, and the most expensive goggle you can afford.
r/fpvracing • Good Drone Build? Budget is $235 ->Perfect. I would just get a betafpv air 65. It's the best in the tiny whoop class, $95 USD. very durable which will come in handy as a beginner. Also can fly indoors, and is very quiet and not intimidating, all leading to more opportunities to fly which equals more stick time, leading to quick progression. You can pick between 23,000 and 26,000kv motors(the race version has the higher kv). Make sure to get the new folded cell batteries, they are tattu but sold as betafpv lava as well as some others. Get the 300mah, will tame the quad a bit from the higher weight. Then get the vifly whoopstor v3, and maybe an extra frame and canopy(quad will come with one spare canopy, spare frame and canopy is only like $8usd). You should be able to get quad, batteries, charger, and a few spares all for around $150.
r/fpv • Best Mini FPV Drone for Beginners? Budget Around $100-150 USD ->I’d go with the air65 or meteor65 instead, they have the good battery connectors, and the mobula6 2024 has issues.
r/fpv • Indoor drone beginner ->I really gotta make a copypasta for this… Drone: BetaFPV air65 or 75 or meteor65 or 75, depending on if you want to fly indoors or outdoors. Radio: anything from Radiomaster or Jumper with ELRS. Cheapest option is the Radiomaster Pocket or Pocket Crush. Make sure it has ELRS not cc2500 2 18650 batteries Goggles: eachine ev800d or Skyzone cobra x Batteries: BetaFPV lava or Tattu, with a bt2.0 connector. For 65mm, you want 300mah, for 75mm you want 450-550mah Charger: Vifly Whoopstor 3 Depending on various factors this should fit under $350 USD Ah and most importantly, a sim. Velocidrone with the freestyle addon, or Tryp. Get the controller and the sim first so you can get some practice in.
r/drones • FPV drone recommendations? ->What id say is get the controller first (probably a Radiomaster pocket with ELRS or a Pocket Crush) and a sim like Velocidrone or Liftoff. That way crashes cost $0. Once they can fly in that fairly well, then they’re ready for a tiny whoop like the BetaFPV air65 or 75
r/drones • Beginner drone recommendation for 10 year old. ->I wouldn’t recommend the Cetus kit, the controller is awful, the goggles are bad, and the drone is meh. The BetaFPV air65 and 75 are quite good though. For the controller, something from Radiomaster or Jumper with ELRS.

r/fpv • Best cheap fpv drone ->Don’t get the Cetus kit, the drone help community I’m in has seen many people being pushed out of the hobby because of how much the literadio sucks, and the drone itself is quite meh. The BetaFPV air65 and 75 are better options. But yeah, get a sim first. You should train like you fly and fly like you train, so use the same radio controller you’d use for the real drone. I recommend the Radiomaster pocket or boxer. Specifically the ELRS version, not cc2500 or 4-in-1.
r/drones • Best Drone under $200 ->Yes, the air65 has a camera and video transmitter. Cheapest I’d go on the goggles is the eachine ev800d. A better (more expensive) choice would be the Skyzone cobra x Egh, I’ll just copypasta the full setup Drone: BetaFPV air65 or 75 or meteor65 or 75, depending on if you want to fly indoors or outdoors. Radio: anything from Radiomaster or Jumper with ELRS. Cheapest option is the Radiomaster Pocket or Pocket Crush. r/drones • Best Drone under $200 ->Perhaps a BetaFPV air65 or 75, they’re quite robust. Some time in the sim would also help, I recommend Liftoff or Velocidrone. You’ll want an actual Rc controller, not an Xbox controller, I recommend the Radiomaster Pocket with ELRS.
r/drones • Starter Drone (kid+adult) ->I ordered mine on Amazon, took about a week or so
r/TinyWhoop • What is the best drone for beginners in YOUR opinion? ->The Betafpv Air65 and Air75 are the best BNF whoops out right now. Lightest whoops ever made. Longest flight time. Great price too. Air65 or Air75 are the way to go.
r/TinyWhoop • A Noob's review of the newbeedrone hummingbird v3 ->I went with a BetaFPV air65 for my first drone, it was a real handful to fly indoors for the first 100 or so batteries, I am getting the hang of it now though. I also did spend about 50 hours in the sim beforehand but I feel like the physics on tinywhoops are quite far off. Also make sure you buy a bunch of batteries, they generally only last 3 minutes. I have 10 batteries and its almost enough to keep a constant cycle of batteries
r/fpv • Indoor drone beginner ->Air65 with the 27000KV, but with TPU canopies and HQprop ultralights. \-Flying indoors has improved my flying skills dramatically. I can take breaks from work, fly a few packs, go back to whatever I was doing. Great stepping stone to a cinewhoop, I've found myself flying so much better every time I take my 2.5" O3 cinewhoop out. This is probably the biggest advantage of startng with a 65mm indoors. \-I don't have to worry about weather, wind, or losing the drone. \-Parts are super cheap, definitely order extra frames and props. If you have a 3D printer or a friend that does I'd have them print a few TPU canopies, the betafpv ones break extremely easily and aren't cheap per unit. \-I'd start out with 80% motor limit if you're new to flying. the 23000KVs are even more forgiving but leaves you with no room to grow if you find yourself needing more power/speed. It's super light so you have to work less hard on keeping it afloat. \-the default tune is a lot more forgiving than other BNFs
r/TinyWhoop • What is the best drone for beginners in YOUR opinion? ->dont start with a kit, once you'll get better you' ll want to upgreade your gear. For the same price(or a little bit more) you can buy decent gear. - Betafpv meteor65/air65 100$-90$ - Eachine ev800d 80$ - Radiomaster Pocket 60$ - 2x 18650 batteries (for the radio) 15$ - Whoopstor v3 30$ (if you want a decent battery charger) - 300 mAh battery 22$ Total: 297/307 $ And those thing will last more than the one in the kit
r/fpv • Is it possible to get a decent beginner FPV setup for $300 or less? ->It can but it is not the best one
r/fpv • Is it possible to get a decent beginner FPV setup for $300 or less? ->Potato... Hehe. The FPV video quality is decent for the size and the control ability is close to the Avata 2 using the motion controller. I'm sure the the power density is much higher on freestyle ones like the air65. Which tiny woop is your favorite? (Like from the bottom row.) Are all of them analog video?
r/fpv • Looking for the best contraceptive for drones. Mines are keep multiplying ->for sure, love to help out. fpv is weird in the sense that you have to learn how to fly before you actually fly, and that's why everyone strongly recommends using a simulator instead of just going out, flying, and crash. which seems kinda lame, but it's actually pretty fun. here's the general "starter guide" that you'll see many times a day on the r/fpv sub: * radiomaster pocket (remote controller) - $65 (and 2x 18650 batteries) * simulator - free to $20 (DRL, velocidrone, uncrashed, liftoff) \*spend dozens of hours learning to fly correctly * eachine ev800d analog goggles- $100 * betafpv air65/75 tinywhoop (drone) - $95 * 4x lava 1s 450mah battery - $20 * whoopstor v3 charger - $30 this is everything you'll need, start to finish, to have a decent budget fpv setup. please reach out and let me know if you have any questions!

r/fpv • Recomendations for drones for noninvasive filming ->1. That's a very broad question but since you specified racing it narrows it down a bit. 1. Analog and HDZero are the best video system options for racing. 2. It's often recommended to start small. The Air 65/75 and Meteor 65/75 tinywhoops from BetaFPV are fun to fly and relatively cheap and durable. 2. Most RTF kits like those from BetaFPV are not recommended. Their controllers and goggles are very cheap. Getting a BNF drone ( bind and fly ) and pairing it with a quality controller and pair of goggles is usually a better option. 3. You can easily get an analog setup including batteries and charger within this budget. HDZero goggles alone are $650 so that is not an option for you - yet. 4. Start with a controller and simulator! 1. Find some drone racing events near you. See what kind of drones they are flying and get to know the community. Most events are very friendly and welcoming of newbies.
r/fpv • Beginner Looking to Get Into FPV Drones – Need Advice ->I bought the aquila16 a Month ago I really Liked it at the Beginning because in n-mode practically anyone can fly It. However after taking It Outside i immediatly realize the camera isnt the best when going from Bright to shadows you are blind during the day. So i got a Gofilm20 with Goggles L but i only flew it twice because Its really really cold Outside. Now i want to practicse acro mode more so i Just ordered a tinywhoop Air65 TL;Dr Aquila16 RTF Kit Pros: Easy to fly, very durable, cheap parts, actually good fly time 8mins Totally doable with 1100mAh Cons: is Not the Most agile,camera in Low light conditions, gets tossed by the Wind Outside. Conclusion: Its okay for your Entry to FPV If You dont want to build and have 0 Equipment and dont want to Figure Out what is what. Thats how It was for me I First Had no clue Other than i want to try fpv Then i flew and within a week interest became bigger and Ou start to look up Videos What is this why use that What is the best package rate etc Aquila16 can make you addicted and interested in more I have 3 sims but If you ask me theyre boring compared to real flying So far each of them (lift Off, lift Off Micro drones, DRL) has less than 10 hours in my library
r/fpv • Drone Build ->Aquila16 is not a trash Drone Its not outdoor 5" freestyle Drone for Sure But its very good at giving noobs an easy Entry which, in my opinion is its own reason to exist I have ordered the 2025 Version of the Air 65 They have changed the canopy so that some things dont immediatly come of the FC in a Crash Meteor65 hs Air 65 i havent seen a Big difference except for price
r/fpv • Drone Build ->I know what you mean Its not the best representing Drone for fpv Only upside is i now can use the radiocontroller and goggles and charger for new analog drones Im still waiting for the Air65 to arrive i believe flying It will be a difference So when you Connect Betaflight Do you have this Air Mode for acro enabled? Is it on by Default?
r/fpv • Drone Build ->Definitely recommend the air65 for indoor flying. I’m no professional but it was very easy to get flying and I have had so much fun with it.
r/fpv • Stick with the cinewhoop or get another drone ? ->I have a Meteor65 Pro and an Air65. The Meteor is much more durable and has ran into brick walls at max speed without damage. I have cracked one part of a frame and had to replace the antenna and 1 prop but other than that it's almost indestructible. It's also a bit heavier than the air so it manages outdoor flying a bit better with a little bit of wind. I've heard good things about the Meteor75 Pro, so it's a solid choice imo. Better for indoor and outdoor. If mostly indoor, then get a 65mm. Just my 2 cents.
r/TinyWhoop • Best long range and heavy duty 1s whoop for semi beginner in fpv? ->For what it's worth I started with the cetus x and it has been a TANK I've gone way higher than I thought possible and flew indoors on the same battery, all while hitting so many things. After 6 months I heard a little bit of motor noise so I replaced the set and put on the spare props that came with it and sent it. Just got an air65 and it's great too the cetus x was a perfect easy starter
r/fpv • Is it possible to get a decent beginner FPV setup for $300 or less? ->There are at like 5-10 of these post asking the same here since the start of 2025. Anyway, you buy: - **Controller:** Radio Master Pocket controller + it's 2 batteries (they recharge via usb-c port in controller) - **Drone:** Air65 or Air75. (Air65 if you want to fly mainly indoors, Air75 for both indoor and outdoors and finally Meteor75 Pro if mainly outdoors) - **Goggles:** ev800d. - **Drone batteries:** 3 to 6 "1s BT2.0" batteries. (300mah for 65mm drones, 450mah for 75mm), stick to the brands BetaFPV **Lava** or Tattu) - **Drone batteries charger:** Whoopstor V3.
r/fpv • What is the best beginner FPV drone that is not crazy expensive? ->2.5 will be pretty small to carry a gopro. And trust me, get a tiny whoop for inside. You'll be back here in a few months talking about how crap the e087 is indoors. They are like 100$ for a mob6 or air65. They will fit in the palm of your hand.
r/fpv • 2.5 inch or 3 inch drone? ->Inside = air65. I love it and i crashed 150 times
r/fpv • Help me choose my first fpv drone please ->If analog whoops cater to you, just get that Air65 (if you'd like to fly mostly indoors, however it's great outside too if there's no wind) and the Boxer. You can get a cheap ev800dm second hand as a low cost entry for dipping your toes into the hobby or you can start with a higher end Fatshark or Skyzone straight from the start if you think you'll get hooked. Chances are you'll be :) I think you can think about going digital later once you get a deeper understanding of different fpv drones styles and builds. Also, get extra props, canopies and sooner or later frames. And after a while you'll need to learn soldering.
r/fpv • I really want to fly drones but I'm overwhelmed with options, and scared to choose DJI ->Air65 also has a 400mW VTX. In my experience the range is about 300-400 meters at full power, after that it gets a bit too noisy for me. Keep in mind the max power varies depending on which band you choose to fly one (Raceband 1 has most power and 8 has the lowest power)
r/TinyWhoop • Best long range and heavy duty 1s whoop for semi beginner in fpv? ->Get a air65 first, then a mob8 or a babyape2 for the days there’s good weather, practice with the air65, then when you feel like you know you won’t crash, upgrade! Bam
r/fpv • Choosing between 5” 3.5” or a whoop ->I got the pavo20 pro and it was hard to handle for my noob self. Got an Air65 and happy
r/fpv • Any suggestions for indoor drones with 03 air unit? ->Yeah I lost control and it hit ceiling and made a mark. Then it hits things like bottles on counter and knocks them over. I was especially worried about hitting Christmas tree ornaments. I got an Air65 and that thing is great
r/fpv • Any suggestions for indoor drones with 03 air unit? ->
