Cetus X ELRS from Ali with 4 sets of bats
r/fpv • What is the best beginner FPV drone that I should start with? ->What's your goal? What do you want out of flight, freestyle? Cinewhoop? Tiny whoop? Racing? Cetus X Kit is what I started with, and the radiomaster pocket. Total was around $300 together. You want to start on analog or go straight to digital? You said fatshark analog, which is a good start especially because you can upgrade antennas and such. Have fun, good luck!
r/fpv • Good beginner setup? ->Honestly, I recommend getting cetus x. You will crash a lot and whoop has some protection
r/fpv • What would be a good controller and pair of goggles for this fpv drone? ->For what it's worth I started with the cetus x and it has been a TANK I've gone way higher than I thought possible and flew indoors on the same battery, all while hitting so many things. After 6 months I heard a little bit of motor noise so I replaced the set and put on the spare props that came with it and sent it. Just got an air65 and it's great too the cetus x was a perfect easy starter
r/fpv • Is it possible to get a decent beginner FPV setup for $300 or less? ->I have the Cetus x. It was my first but I kinda regret it so I’d say you made a good choice
r/fpv • First fpv drone so excited ->What’s your goals here? Learn to fly FPV? Are you interested in flying indoors/outdoors? Generic recommendation: Cetus X or Cetus Pro. It’s a platform for learning. Once you’ve learned and can fly acro mode, most of the other drones mentioned here make sense.
r/TinyWhoop • What is the best drone for beginners in YOUR opinion? ->As we say at my work, "let's take a step back" What do you want to do with it? 1 take pictures and videos? 2 do acro/dynamic flying? Then from there, you look at your budget First category, you've DJI Mini series that is good at that and keeps you under 250g weight (no requirement for licenses). Pretty straight forward in what they do but they do it relatively well Second category, you've got fpv drones where you put goggles on and learn how to control it in a very immersive way for that, if you know "nothing" you can get one of the betafpv kits (cetus x for outdoors, cetus pro for indoors) or an emax tinyhawk iii ready to fly kit. Definitely not as straightforward and it's harder to control, batteries last less long cause they're extra light but also super responsive, but they do have "easier" modes built in to help you figure it out and once you figure that out, sky is the limit Finally you've got the DJI neo that's in between the 2, you can start with pics and videos without even using your phone, you can can then use your phone for more manual control, and then pay more to get the controller and goggles to unleash its max performance/range but that's EXTRA spicy on the wallet (to get controller + goggles) I went the FPV route with my daughter and it took about a month of practicing (simulator and outdoors) before she got the hang of it. Now she loves it and even some of her friends are interested and curious about it but your kid has to be patient enough
r/drones • Starter Drone (kid+adult) ->I would go for something like a beta fpv Cetus which comes with goggles tx and quad. It won’t be the best thing in the world but it’s everything you need to have fun and see if it’s something you want to carry on with. I think the whole Cetus package is around £200
r/fpv • Beginner, thinking I should start with a 2 inch drone or cinewhoop, or at at the very least a quad that can handle a Runcam Thumb Pro or simmilar camera, on a budget. ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
