What's your goal? What do you want out of flight, freestyle? Cinewhoop? Tiny whoop? Racing? Cetus X Kit is what I started with, and the radiomaster pocket. Total was around $300 together. You want to start on analog or go straight to digital? You said fatshark analog, which is a good start especially because you can upgrade antennas and such. Have fun, good luck!

Honestly, I recommend getting cetus x. You will crash a lot and whoop has some protection

For what it's worth I started with the cetus x and it has been a TANK I've gone way higher than I thought possible and flew indoors on the same battery, all while hitting so many things. After 6 months I heard a little bit of motor noise so I replaced the set and put on the spare props that came with it and sent it. Just got an air65 and it's great too the cetus x was a perfect easy starter

I have the Cetus x. It was my first but I kinda regret it so I’d say you made a good choice

What’s your goals here? Learn to fly FPV? Are you interested in flying indoors/outdoors? Generic recommendation: Cetus X or Cetus Pro. It’s a platform for learning. Once you’ve learned and can fly acro mode, most of the other drones mentioned here make sense.

I would go for something like a beta fpv Cetus which comes with goggles tx and quad. It won’t be the best thing in the world but it’s everything you need to have fun and see if it’s something you want to carry on with. I think the whole Cetus package is around £200

r/fpv • Beginner, thinking I should start with a 2 inch drone or cinewhoop, or at at the very least a quad that can handle a Runcam Thumb Pro or simmilar camera, on a budget. ->
