I really love my Pavo20 Pro with O4 Pro. Awesome little quad.
r/fpv • Sub 250g O4 Pro drone - recommendations? ->Budget? Imho - pavo20 pro, cca 100$ without vtx, or avionrc ikon 2.5 max, cca 220-ish also without vtx. For vtx DJI is the king now, the new stack is bonkers. Stick time is the no1 rule in the hoby so you should fly, than you will break things and eventualy learn to rebuild them (this is the way). And yeah, wellcome to the airspace, we are the birds now. :)
r/fpv • NEWBIE: Can someone help me finding a good/cheap sub-250g drone? ->your ability to handle the complexity of control is important to the drone. even with sim time if you start with a 7 inch you'll most likely end up going home with it in pieces or even worse going home without it. if you want to go with a more traditional hobby quad I would recommend starting with a 3 inch or smaller. maybe something like the pavo20 pro with the o4 pro. you get basically the same video quality as the avata 2 in a nice small package. it's not going to do any crazy freestyle but it will be great for cruising around and exploring like you said. it'll be a good stepping stone if you decide you do want to do the type of flying that is good for a 7". it also uses 2s or 3s batteries that will be much cheaper than avata batteries.
r/fpv • Looking for a good drone for FPV footages and exploring. ->That's not a bad choice. The only thing I would recommend looking into is getting the ELRS radiomaster pocket. It's cheap and a great first radio. The tango 2 is also a good radio but it's a bit expensive and most people run ELRS nowadays. the receivers are cheaper and more widely available. ELRS preforms just as good or better than crossfire. It should be great for cruising and exploring. you might want to buy some extra arms for the frame because they aren't too thick. Arms take most of the force from crashes so they tend to brake first. It sucks not being able to fly because you have to wait for an arm to come in the mail. If you're just flying over grass and stuff though it should survive most little crashes fine.
r/fpv • Looking for a good drone for FPV footages and exploring. ->Something like the pavo20 pro or pavo25 v2 are usable indoors going slowly, but it takes a LOT to control it and definitely isn't something you just pick up and do. They are also then small enough that for outdoors, unless there is 0 wind, you're fighting the wind most of the time and kinda ruin the fun. Unless you KNOW this is the right setup for you, (like real estate fly through stuff) you should go 3in+ outdoor only, and something smaller indoors only.
r/fpv • 2.5 inch or 3 inch drone? ->I got the pavo20 pro and it was hard to handle for my noob self. Got an Air65 and happy
r/fpv • Any suggestions for indoor drones with 03 air unit? ->Pavo20 pro is good but the Draknight is better
r/fpv • Pavo 20 pro or any other Pavo drone[Pavo 25 v2? Idk](if yes, which) ->Flylens 85 I have the Pavo20 and like it but the Flylens 85 is lighter.
