Parkflyer?? What the fuck are you talking about? Nazgul is pretty much up there in terms of performance. Great freestyler, lots of power! Its a 6s drone bruh..bando drones are even heavier.. move slower cuz the weight. But if you are starting, you won't feel the difference

I bought this as my first 5" last year and lemme tell you she rips for what it is once you put on better props. theres pros and cons to this drone but its great for hobby flying. Id say its a great park flyer and light freestyle. Definitely not built to be a bando basher but if you're not planning on doing that then i think it would be good. Never heard of those batteries tho...

Starter drone as in "I've never flown a drone before?" It's a horrible first drone from that perspective - you might hurt yourself, someone else, or cause some dmg. The drone is great, for sure, but not for beginners IMO. Even a 3in drone is a lot to handle for a beginner. Also, 200e for the analog version? Check how much is a new one, you might get it for a smilar price. Bats are likely not worth much.

5inch is not too much to start with, if you have space and $ go for it, they are beasts. 1 sec and you whizzing at 100mph, 2 sec and you're in the neighbouring village... The guys are correct, they require huge spaces and they are really loud, but if that's not an issue I recommend 5inch

If you have enough space, big open spaces, like open fields, go for 5inch, the power is sick xD I went through your steps 2 years ago, in the end I decided to build 5inch Nazgul, didn't regret it yet. I live in countryside and I have big empty spaces around. Now I'm planning to build additional 3.5inch for bandos and for my orchard and backyard. 5inch is loud and fast as fuck, ideal for open spaces. As someone else said, you can always limit throttle a bit in the beginning. Go for 5inch, you only live once xD Now I'm also using my nazgul with lion battery to fly 10+km so it's versatile also. Good luck 🍀🍀

any 4s 3 inch *could* carry a osmo action 5, but it would barely fly, so if you wanted to actually be able to fly, you could get and 6s 3 inch, and it would be able to manuver a decent amount. But if you want something bigger, like for acro movements, you could get what everybody gets, a 5 inch freestyle quad. The specific drone doesn't really matter for the question your asking, but i'd recommend a geprc cinebot 30/cinelog 35 for a 6s 3 inch, or a custom built 3 inch toothpick. for a 5 inch freestyle quad, really any decent bnf, but the most popular are the geprc mark 5 or an iflight nazgul.

I love my Nazgul, I'll keep fixing it as long as I can find parts. Can't go wrong OP!

I thought this, o4 better than naked GoPro? Current arsenal is a mobula8 and a Nazgûl (defo not suitable 😂)

Nazgul is a great drone for both freestyle and cinematic flight, just be careful it might be a bit too fast for a beginner. If you use 4S battery instead of intended 6S, it will be more tame.

Just to counterbalance as I see mostly DJI choices, for you to know you have FPV oriented drones as well (Mobula 8, Baby Ape, Nazgul, etc). They are harder to fly but allow you to do any kind of movements/tricks you want. Like that: https://youtu.be/is9uEJCqhVo?si=6P_e1mjZ7q6UOFFE. DJI is great if you want to make nice videos in an assisted way and dont want to spend time learning to fly. Both are good choices, it is personal.

I would take a real Fpv drone like the Nazgul but it is good to start in cinematic but if you want to fly even further you should consider a 7” but I don’t recommend that for a beginner. I would personally pick the googles 3 I think they come with some of these diopter glasses. And lastly I would go with the tango because if you loose video while flying some pilots like to fly high up to get the signal back but the DJI controller and you loose video you will also lose connection to your controller

They're a camera company who makes drones. And they're good drones, for cinematography. The Neo is capable of freestyle, but when it comes to freestyle drones I wouldn't rank it as that good, or particularly durable. There are plenty of better options for less money. If you haven't flown acro before id recommend you start with a whoop like the air65.its fairly cheap and lightweight enough that crashing doesn't pose that much of a risk. But if you're willing to spend the money the dji neo will hold your hand with angle mode while you learn how to fly acro. Just be careful not to crash it. Drones like the nazgul or air65 are pretty easy to repair, dji drones not so much.

No it's not for beginners. Get a tinywhoop or something like an avata 2, combined with a bit of simulator time. You can start in angle mode, then a bit of sim, then acro. Fly small stuff that's reasonable harmless and has prop guards for a couple of months till you have good enough control then get your Nazgul. My avata 2 once cut open my thumb on a botched hand landing, still not completely healed 2 months later. My nazgul could probably chop of the top of my pinky finger ...

It all depends on what you want to do with the drone. If you plan on doing long range, I would go for a Nazgul or something like that, if you want to fly indoors cinematic a pavo20... and so on. Just tell us what you want and we'll try to help you (:

Well in that case, I would go for something like a Nazgul 100%. You can get the drone BNF but you'll have to buy the goggles and transmitter separately. Get it ELRS and get your transmitter with ELRS 1W built in and you just have to bind it and you're ready to go Theres a lot of other RTF 5" drones, but the Iflight nazgul is the most common one so I'd just recommend that one, but you can also check other brands.

this right here op ... take it from me, I engaged with fpv & rc with nazgul quads. looks like an XL5 frame..i lost two to the ocean, they were my first and boy oh boy did i skip the simulator and sent it for years. lotta damage but good times >:) no one was hurt just a lot of tinkering/building. if your serious about it, and you do your research, these are (contrary to the comments) good quads to learn with but u must have an open space. i lived on dairy farms all my life so little quads are outta the question - i like to check on cows ;)
