I’m very impressed with the Ceado E6C, it can do light to dark roast, filter or espresso and does it all impressively well. incredible built quality, made in Italy.

love it! I’m mostly filter coffee and it’s right there with my Pietro. The espresso I’m getting with it is also amazing, I use a Cafelat Robot. I really enjoy using this grinder. Hard to beat it for its high built quality and being made in Italy. I would recommend it.

if you want electric, I’ll throw the Ceado E6C out there, incredible grinder. I sold my 078 after getting it, it’s on par with my Pietro Pro brew maybe even a touch better but it’s probably more to do with preference than being better. It also makes incredible espresso with my Robot. Pietro Pro brew is also a strong contender in this range, if you’re ok with hand grinding.

Yes. That’s exactly right. I’ve also just found that my dialing in is easier with ZP6, likely because of that clarity. Right now I have a Comandante c60, ZP6 and Ceado Chameleon and my preference is in that order, but the gap between the first and second isn’t that big.

Ceado E6C. Great for a single grinder set up due to reliable repeatability of grind.

I have both of these on my counter. My 078 gets around 80% more use than my Pietro because I’m lazy and because the cups aren’t so significantly better that I reach for the Pietro every time. I will use the Pietro on new or super high end beans, or if I feel like I’m missing something out of my cups with the 078. I personally would splurge on the 078 or the Ceado E6C if I didn’t have my 078 or Pietro right now.

Ive been using a caedo e6c for about 6 momths and almost only drink 6oz milk drinks. Really impressed with grinder. While it may not be the trendiest grinder, it has top notch build quality, super easy to clean and maintain. Super fast grind time and the high fines produce very sweet espresso.  You do need to rdt though, otherwise it clumps a lot in the grind chute. With rdt the grinds coming out are super fluffy and uniform, basically dont need wdt.

We are very happy with our zero retention Ceado.

Where some of the ultra high end grinders are awesome, they all have flaws too. I didn’t want the weber as it is too slow and can stall, something I hated on my Ceado (the stalling, that thing is fast). Currently use the Philos and MK e65w, not extreme but a good enough balance with the Micra at about 1:1 costs grinders vs machine. I would have loved an actual dream model like the Sanremo x-one but it doesn’t fit my kitchen and it is a bit of a hard sell at 8k+

I had a couple of their Mini’s and highly highly recommend them to anybody new to prosumer gear since they last forever are very simple to work on and you can find them sometimes for 300 to 400 dollars in great shape. Just look for one that was privately owned. Now I have a CEADO it was supposed to be a big step up to go back to a mazzer, even though I am looking at some higher end grinders these days. I also had one of these in an apartment that we just sold all the contents of. I like the dosing a lot, but it made a big mess. https://thekitchenbarista.com/products/eureka-mignon-specialita-flat-burr-coffee-grinder-chrome
