If you want to make both filter and espresso with one grinder I suppose you're open to compromise and are not expecting to have 10/10 espresso AND filter coffee from one grinder I'd go with the DF, the 64mm platform has a lot of options for burrs so I think it'd be easier to find one that is "good enough" for both methods
