I have a Varia (VS3 and 3 different burrs for it). I really like them. I upgraded to my Eureka Atom 65W for the same reasons (fast, convenient, good), but kept my Varia for the one-offs. Very low retention is an advantage. If a VS6 is in budget, go for it!

I have the atom 65w; got it maybe 6 weeks ago. Game changer for the workflow and super accurate

I use a Eureka Atom 65w, I highly recommend it for both grind quality and ease of use.

I have an Atom 65w and have had nothing but a really positive experience with it. It's definitely built more robustly then the Mignon and has dedicated espresso burrs, it's also much more solidly built and heavier than the Mahlkonig E64ws. If you like your Firenze maybe it's worth going up to the Atom 75w for you.

Lx Italia Edison 65. Got it on sale for about $500, I wanted an upgrade from my fellow opus since grind retention was beginning to drive me insane.

If you're in SoCal I'll sell you me Bianca and Atom 65 grinder together for $3000. Just ordered a Linea Mini

I use a Eureka Atom. I bought it because of it's decently sized hopper, stepless infinite grind adjustment, noise reduction features, automatic grind timer, and of course, Eureka's reputation for making quality machines. I paid around $1000 for it if I remember correctly.

At the same time, the ergonomics of the Atom are just dreadful, despite being technically a better grinder. I tried to live with both for a few days and went with the Fiorenzato because of how much easier it is to dial in and clean. I didn't notice any noteworthy differences in retention and taste.

On the bar is a Eureka A65 that is dialed in for espresso. Don't want to mess with that. It is dedicated to espresso. Next to it is a Niche Zero that handles pour overs, AeroPress, and the ocassional request for decaf espresso. It's marvelous. I also have a Mahlkonig K35 that I need to get dialed in or it needs to get off the bar. It has not been very cooperative so far! And I have a hand grinder for travel.

If you can fund it - then yes, it's very nice . I have a Eureka 65 that stays dialed in for espresso, period. Sitting beside it is a Niche Zero that does pour-over, AeroPress and decaf espresso if someone wants that. Since we entertain a lot it's an unbeatable combo.
