I would definitely not get a HG-2 if I were you. Its Burr is not good for light roast coffee. I am someone who only pretty much drinks ultra-light coffee. Right now I am using a Pietro Pro Brew (which makes great coffee but is a pain in the ass) until I get my Zerno Z2 that's on order. In terms of options; you have the 80mm fleet (Z2, P80, Motti 80, EG1), the various 98mm options, and the Lagom 01 at 102mm.
I'd second the AllGround. Great grinder paired with a much easier work flow. Not having to weigh out beans / deal with bellows / retention nonsense is huge
Might not answer your question, but I recently picked up a second hand Fiorenzato Allground (€300) and really like it. Can be made into single doser. Stepped dial but I actually like that. Great for esp, good for PO. May be worth looking for.
