I enjoy my Hibrew G5, it is a stepless, single dosing, Turkish capable, 48mm conical. I have seen it lately @ $130ish (USD) on eBay lately. That's a touch more than I paid on AliExpress. I've used it every day for a year so far and am happy with it
I use a Hibrew g5, good with my dark roast espresso habit, can't speak to the lighter roast comparability. Got mine off AliExpress for $113 , but always closer to 200 on Amazon and elsewhere. eBay has had the for around $130 for a while.... https://ebay.us/m/pIbfD7 Some recommend the Shardor brand of grinders on Amazon. You should be able to search here for more info on them.
I got 3 Itop KF64 GBW, Hibrew G5, 1zpresso Q2 Itop KF64 for the odd small catering job and if I have a week where feel lazy to single dose Hibrew G5 i got for 150€ on AliExpress. Very compact and can grind very fine for some of my weirder coffee and basket combinations and OPV settings. Tastewise, its alright. Next to my Dedica it makes decnt shots 1zlresso Q2 for aeropress on the go. My job requires me to work at different locations and customers almost every day, so the Q2 fits inside the aeropress. Takes up little space while making some lovely coffee
I use a Hibrew g5, it is single dosing, stepless adjustment, Turkish/espresso capable grinder. It is $189 via Amazon, but the official factory store on eBay sells it for $130. It was a huge step up from my Lido3 hand grinder..... I also see some praise for one of the Shardor grinders from Amazon.
This was on the list of options I had as well. I had to take the Hibrew G5. Though may special handling pa to put a washer (already included) underneathe the burr to grind enough for espresso. Daming bad reviews netong Delonghi with not being consistent for espresso.
I like my G5 a lot.
You simply cannot cheap out on a espresso capable grinder. A decent espresso setup will always be costly. The best you can get out of your money to grind espresso fine is to get a Kingrinder k4 or k6. Get the k7 if you can wait and save enough. This will last you years. If you really want an electric grinder, check the Hibrew G5. But this will be worse than the good manual grinders at this price range. If you can wait for a sale, The DF64 GEN 2 goes on sale for around 10k Php. Super worth the price. If you get into the coffee hobby really far, you can upgrade to an SPP MP burr but that's an extra 8k. This is coming from someone who had used the 600N for years. If you want to waste the effort of the farmers, roasters, and not get your money's worth from the beans, buy this.
You’ve got 3 realistic options - Baratza encore esp Hibrew G5 Cipher rift 64 The rift 64 is just a white label Shardor 64. The advantage is that it is upgradable in the future - watch Lance Hedrick’s review on it. I think the Hibrew G5 is well supported in India if you get it from fix coffee. There are many owners here that you can consult
The best budget grinder for espresso is the 1zpresso J-max The best electric grinder for espresso is - Hibrew G5, Shardor 64 (Cipher is launching this under their own name) or the Baratza Encore ESP
I have all 3 Baratza Opus Hibrew, you can buy whichever you like.
Hibrew is my espresso, opus has retention issue and not very easy to dial that's my dedicated filter grinder. Baratza is retired now, its the non esp, so I dont have any use for it. And I dont like the way it grinds for filter.
DF64 is hibrew right?
