Wow, I never knew Shardor type flat burr grinders are available in India. Go for Cipher Rift. I have a g5, there is no static. Retention barely there. No complains about the taste or quality. I would still suggest you go for Rift for flat burrs
I love my HiBREW G5 48mm Conical Burr single dose grinder. I have had it for \~1,5 year and its perfect, can grind fine enough to block my Rancillio and my Quick Mill.
I enjoy my Hibrew G5, it is a stepless, single dosing, Turkish capable, 48mm conical. I have seen it lately @ $130ish (USD) on eBay lately. That's a touch more than I paid on AliExpress. I've used it every day for a year so far and am happy with it
I use a Hibrew g5, good with my dark roast espresso habit, can't speak to the lighter roast comparability. Got mine off AliExpress for $113 , but always closer to 200 on Amazon and elsewhere. eBay has had the for around $130 for a while.... https://ebay.us/m/pIbfD7 Some recommend the Shardor brand of grinders on Amazon. You should be able to search here for more info on them.
I got 3 Itop KF64 GBW, Hibrew G5, 1zpresso Q2 Itop KF64 for the odd small catering job and if I have a week where feel lazy to single dose Hibrew G5 i got for 150€ on AliExpress. Very compact and can grind very fine for some of my weirder coffee and basket combinations and OPV settings. Tastewise, its alright. Next to my Dedica it makes decnt shots 1zlresso Q2 for aeropress on the go. My job requires me to work at different locations and customers almost every day, so the Q2 fits inside the aeropress. Takes up little space while making some lovely coffee
Ive been using a no-name grinder (\~140€) for about a year now. I got it from German retailer Otto but it's also available on AliExpress. It's a single dosing grinder, retention is <0.1g, I use it for medium dark roasts mainly but on setting 2-4 it also works great with lighter roasts where the beans have a higher density. I mainly chose it because of the small counter space but it's honestly a great device and I'm absolutely happy with it. If I'm missing out on something then I'm not even aware :D https://preview.redd.it/noyqjszkrlpg1.jpeg?width=1042&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4cac0688bcf95306ca7f994a4e023522e9be5e66
Are you asking about the Turin df54 or the sk40 conical? I use a conical similar to the sk40 but 48mm, Hibrew G5. It is single dosing, Turkish capable grinder... $200USD on Amazon, but the official factory store on eBay has it for $130. Would 10/10 buy it again, but I'm a Luddite that drinks dark roasted coffee... YMMV
I can't speak to the sk40 but the g5 is stepless and Turkish or espresso capable, I paid $117 on AliExpress pre-tariff.
I use a Hibrew g5, it is single dosing, stepless adjustment, Turkish/espresso capable grinder. It is $189 via Amazon, but the official factory store on eBay sells it for $130. It was a huge step up from my Lido3 hand grinder..... I also see some praise for one of the Shardor grinders from Amazon.
I've been using the Hibrew G5 for almost 2 years, I like it a lot. It's currently $130 USD on the manufacturer eBay store and $190 USD on Amazon.
