I second this! Love my KitchenAid. looks great, is quiet… makes delicious coffee, is fast, cup is antistatic.. list goes on. love the design too of the hopper coming off the top. only negative thing is that might not be good enough for espresso. but ion make espresso so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have the kitchen aid bur grinder and it does exactly what you describe- I’ve been using mine daily for close to 2 years- grind and amount desired is all set and we rarely change it. I love how quiet it is It does need to be cleaned every few months if you start getting static buildup. The oil from the beans ends up coating the static discharge pins and you need a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab t clean it

I have this coming from an Encore and prefer the Kitchen Aide.

I use the whole beans from Zavida at Costco! $18 a kg. I have a kitchenaid brand grinder that I use twice a week

Bought a stilosa for $85 from Delonghi and a $100 KitchenAid grinder for my first setup and it still is glorious a couple years later. This machine looks very similar to mine. I freaked out about the grinder due to this sub, but learned later that any machine with pressurized baskets (such as this one) has a lot of flexibility there. I think you could save on the grinder for sure but I do like my KitchenAid

Unpopular opinion, perhaps, but i don't need the best tasting coffee, I just need good tasting coffee in a machine that will last for years to come. I have a small Kitchen Aid grinder that I use and it works well for the coffee I like. Not trashing other people's tastes, everyone likes what they like.
