STARSEEKER - STARSEEKER E55

A bit late but I've had mine for 6 months now and I think it's pretty good but there's a few quirks that make it a bit annoying however as someone who hasn't used another more expensive electric grinder, it's hard to say if these are also somewhat present on those as well. Would say the beans getting stuck in the burr chamber is my main annoyance. I've reduced it in two ways: 1. Pouring the beans in slower. They tend to get stuck if you just dump them all in at once but if you introduce them in more slowly, they won't get as stuck. 2. Raising the front of the grinder so the main grind is more vertical. Two other points I would add are: 1. I think the adjustment mechanism is a bit loose - I would prefer if it had a bit more resistance. It's not difficult to see it move 1 or 1.5 ticks in the course of regular use. 2. The catch up needs to be closer to the spout. My grinder tended to spray the grinds out a too much, having the catch cup sit 2cm closer stops this problem. Was previously using a Kingrinder K4 and I can't really taste the difference (although I don't have a very good palate for these things)

just got mine, and starting to dial in. When the ring is fully tight, it is at 60, and not zero. Can you get yours to a true zero on the dial?

I've Just received My Starseeker E55 & first impressions are good. I've bought it to replace my Turin sk40 which is dead...

I've had mine for two weeks, there was a cut in the attractive presentation box that I'm not used to, strange corregation on two of the feet and cheap looking rough plastic part on the front. They used FedEx to ship to UK who charged me for tax despite Aliexpress (me) already paying tax in advance. No other courrier does this. Shipping time was quick and the price was good. The plasma model was 10 dollars-pounds more but I ordered the "standard" one but it wasn't in stock, so I received the plasma model instead for the same Price. It's my first electric burr grinder, so I'm no Expert. I did a quick check for grind size of Turkish, Espresso and Pourover settings and they were as expected. It is heavy which Makes it seem good quality. The slightly poor feet and plastic part made me wonder about the overall quality but they have made a few models now and had a few good reviews. There was a little bit of dust that was on the bellows that I didn't expect. I love the way the coffee grounds come out, some grounds remain inside depending on the bean type. The metal cup is not quite as magnetic as the ones I see on the videos but is acceptable. All in all I enjoy using it and I'm happy so far.

I actually got mine 3 days ago, solid one feels like some kind of premium and high end one in terms of build, and performance wise very consistent and low noise ( yes it is low noise )

2 months and still working great!
