Infinity Plus Conical Burr

Infinity Conical Burr
Reddit Reviews:
Been using this everyday for over two years now. Replaced the conical burrs recently and parts are easy to find. Highly recommend this grinder to anyone. I can get super fine and pull excellent, tasty shots. I can get great even grinds for pour over and French press. I mean it, this is a beast of a grinder! https://www.capresso.com/infinity-plus-conical-burr-grinder-black.html?srsltid=AfmBOopChAwwD57FUPFrKwBxNTfB2V3ze6Dl5P0dUPfcEgQGBgzHVFJ6nc8&gQT=1
pourover • Recommended Pourover Grinder for $500 ->Yeah I have had one for several years that was already secondhand and it’s been great. I always recommend getting kitchen gadgets secondhand. Can usually get them for quite cheap. I got my Moccamaster for $75. The grinder was maybe $40.
Moccamaster • Best (Cost Efficient) Coffee Grinder ->Capresso conical burr has been good to me. Have had it for several years.
Moccamaster • Best (Cost Efficient) Coffee Grinder ->I’ve a Capresso Infinity that I’ve used every day for the past 10 years and it works great at every grind level.
BuyItForLife • Anyone got a recommendation for a cof... ->Baratza Encore ($150, preferred) or Capresso Infinity (cheaper - literally $70 on sale right now with CAP30 code so half the price of Encore, almost as good as Encore and a huge jump over anything cheaper, just much less user-serviceable). OXO Brew ($100) is also a good bet, just not sure it's worth that much more than Capresso if money is super tight.
pourover • Cheapest best electric grinder ->Capresso Infinity will definitely grind coffee. A secondhand ode gen1 will get you really good pourover with the 4:6 method, but certainly falls short in other areas
pourover • Cheapest best electric grinder ->Capresso Infinity?
pourover • Affordable electrical coffee grinders rec... ->I went from Capresso Infinity to Timemore C3 Pro & haven’t looked back. No fines produced with the hand grinder.
pourover • Affordable electrical coffee grinders rec... ->I had one when I was getting into coffee, that thing is shite lol
pourover • Affordable electrical coffee grinders rec... ->Another vote for Capresso Infinity burr grinder. I've used mine daily for the past 13+ years and still going strong.
BuyItForLife • Anyone got a recommendation for a cof... ->Had my capresso infinity burr grinder for about 8 years going strong now. Think it was about $100 when I bought it.
BuyItForLife • Anyone got a recommendation for a cof... ->Capresso Infinity. I’ve had this thing since grad school, so maybe 2007? It’s great.
BuyItForLife • Anyone got a recommendation for a cof... ->We've had our Capresso Infinity Burr Grinder just over 10 years. I think any other grinder would be a disappointment.
BuyItForLife • Anyone got a recommendation for a cof... ->Capresso Infinity. I've had mine for 10 years and it still churns like the day I got it.
BuyItForLife • Anyone got a recommendation for a cof... ->I've had my Capresso Infinity for years and never had any issues. All mechanical controls so no cheap circuit boards to break.
BuyItForLife • Anyone got a recommendation for a cof... ->Capresso burr grinder for the best buy, baratza encore for best overall. Picked up my capresso for around 80 or 90.
Moccamaster • Best (Cost Efficient) Coffee Grinder ->I had one that looked really similar to that but the brand name on it was Capresso. I upgraded to a Baratza Encore and it made a huge difference in quality! That may be outside your price range (retails for $150 I believe) but you can probably get it cheaper if you wait for a coupon code or general sale at one of the sites that sells it.
espresso • Coffee Grinder Inquiry ->Capresso is the one you want. Static can be annoying and you have to take it apart & brush it out, but it's not a horrible starting point.
pourover • Affordable electrical coffee grinders rec... ->to be clear, everything you get at that price point will be pretty low grade, but it performs way better than the ghost burr alternatives and blade grinders at that price point. I also know people who use one daily and have had it for over 2 decades
pourover • Affordable electrical coffee grinders rec... ->I’ve been using a Capresso conical burr grinder for about 20y now (first one lasted about 12y - replaced it about 8y ago now) .. they’re cheap and effective - nothing fancy. Does well over 100g of coffee (4oz) per shot if you want. Cheap and effective, but a bit of a pain to clean .. always found it a tad noisy and never liked the timer knob (it runs slow and the numbers never made sense to me - I think it’s supposed to be “cups”) .. but it’s good for coarse grinds if you’re doing French press or medium to dark pour overs. Never used it much for fine grinds but will do Turkish level fine. Just recently I upgraded my workflow to an Ode2 and a nice scale which is fun to use and evolve into (used to just eyeball everything) .. auto shutoff is nice and the ability to swap out the flat burrs seems like a nice future option .. will see how this fares over time. I’m really enjoying fine tuning the overall setup and playing with extraction techniques to start dialing in the beans better.
