I own Apollo Go, Stellar, & RS Midnight 2.0. Coming from a original nightmare Apollo Phantom 60v. The go and the stellar are identical and built like tanks. Stellar has more power, better lighting, better suspension.  RS Midnight is a race machine with race features. The Apollo is a smooth power house with sidewalk capability. Both are amazing.  I prefer the Apollo Stellar despite being Apollos biggest hater. RS midnight has to be maintained, screws tightened, controllers replaced. It's like a race car with easily replaceable parts. You may need to repair it out of the box or down the road.  The stellar is rather dumby proof. Puncture proof tires, Regen 90% of the time. Better in congested areas. Smooth throttle control reduces fatigue and evokes confidence in tight spaces. Plenty of power. Ludo is almost too much without proper traction control. RS is more stable, lower to the ground and better for fast takeoffs with its Gyro and Traction control. If you like to race and brake to each intersection, RS is more fun. If precision and reduced fatigue are your priority. Stellar!!! My 2¢

I have an [Apollo Phantom 2.0 Stellar (60V)](https://apolloscooters.co/products/apollo-phantom-2-0-stellar) and would prefer it over a Segway. I bought it for something like a grand over what it's selling for right now, but it feels like a lot more thought was put into its design than of something like the Segway GT3 Pro. I don't really care about looking all flashy like I'm on some sort of race scooter or something, I just want something practical that is also powerful. Plus you get the variable regen throttle which is awesome IMO. And don't underestimate all that lighting to keep you safe at night! If you want something that doesn't struggle on hills that is probably the best experience you can get in a scooter right now. (There are more powerful scooters but with compromises.)

Not sure if the slightly more range is worth the worse user experience (lack of variable regen throttle is now a deal breaker for me). Surprised to see how much smaller the Apollo's battery is though; that actually makes up *more* than the range difference since the Segway is less power-efficient...

> It's surprising to me not more manufacturers focus on better regen innovation. They can't; Apollo patented it. > On the flip side, it's surprising to me Apollo doesn't have a 72V scooter. Idk, their 60V allegedly outperforms many 72V scooters. They've said they went with 60V because it was easier to push the limits of their controller with 60V than it would've been with 72V (IIRC). And I think I'd agree that getting the most of 60V is preferable to a less efficient 72V

Yes, the lights change color but I can understand why Apollo went back to white, because I think the majority of riders preferred white, and it was doubly a cost-savings measure. I did play around with the light colors, did some blue, turquoise, purple, and ultimately went back to white in the end. In regards to the orange spring, the Phantom 2.0 Stellar has that as well, I do like the color contrast, gives it its signature look.

Apollo Phantom 2.0. I’m around 270lbs, and I have the Stellar edition of the Phantom 2.0. It’s built like a tank, has insane power and range, and looks great too. I highly recommend it.

I bought the GT3 Pro but it pulls way too hard with no ability to lower the power. I dont mind the power but I ride on pretty bad hilly roads so the GT3 Pro was actively trying to kill me. I switched to the Apollo Phantom 2.0 Stellar since it has an acceleration slider in the app.

Haha it can rip on max acceleration. It’s a core body workout.

I’m relatively new to scooters but my first one was an Apollo Go. I loved it so much I upgraded to a Phantom 2.0 both are great scooters. I haven’t had to deal with support and not a single issue with either so far. I have seen reviews of tons of other scooters and the only thing I notice is the price for comparable hardware/performance is a little more with Apollo.

I have a Phantom 2.0 52V it’s an incredible machine, I can only imagine how sick the Stellar is.

I think Apollo's are one of tge top scooters on the market. I was debating between the Teverun fighter mini pro and the 60v Apollo phantom. I got the teverun my neighbor got the Apollo there both around the same quality. Apollo has more proprietary tech that's pretty cool. I realize that the go is a cheaper model. But I would assume that all there models are excellent. The ninebot G2 max and G3 aren't as fancy. If your planning on modding like doing the QS motors and stuff(turning it into a 75mph monster) then go with the ninebot. If your looking for a scooter with excellent design, build quality and parts then go with the Apollo all day...... https://preview.redd.it/gpj700blfnag1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a351421e43d0d46256e9e293afce04f5a758c1a For under 1000 the new teverun space has a 52v which will give like 40% more torque/power at least. Teverun uses LG Samsung batteries. I actually seen these for $899. And its still small enough to carry up stairs. I travel with my fighter mini pro and carry it up a flight of steps at over 50yo, this scooter is a lot light then mine. Its kinda of a step up over the smaller suspension ninebot type without going full blown hyper scooter. Also look at the Dualtton TOGO they have 36v and 48v dual drive the 48v you can get for 800 there great commuter scooters bring under 50lb with the quality that comes with Dualtron
