I got one recently as my second ride. Very solid. The only thing I don't like is the throttle but I'm getting used to it. The hydraulic brakes are nice and the 52 volts give it the extra power over the $899 model.
I have a roadrunner and an Ausom. I've had go Trax, I've had a parts bin scooter. Roadrunner is designed in the US and the build quality is superior to any scooter I've had so far. The Ausom is a great scooter. It was $1000 less than the roadrunner and it gets the job done..I have 1200 miles on the roadrunner and I park it for the winter.
I got one...it's a nice mid level scooter. Especially for the price.
It's the best value deal in scooters, available today. Fantastic little machine. Anyone saying otherwise has never tried it, or are just in complete ignorant bias. Probably both options really.
Ausom DT2 Pro. Thank me later.
Great scooter, Insanely fast and a lot of fun off-road
So far so good 🙂, I put tire sealent in the tires as a precaution because I heard they are a pain to replace.
Exellent ! I'll also be facing easing into returning to work though not for a while. My scooters a bit of a bashed up old dog so I'll be buying something soon. The DT2 pro would be top of my wish list but not sure I can spare that much. Maybe a Joyor S10 sz but the tubed tires put me off. Sure is difficult making a decision and pulling the trigger. I've been procrastinating for a month and still no closer to deciding. Cheers 👍
Just got the ausom dt2, they look very similar just different color scheme. The real world specs seem similar as well, would love to see them side by side
I've got the dt2 pro and in race mode I'm guaranteed 20 miles minimum if I drop it to sport it goes about 35 I could easily see myself getting 30-40 miles out of it so it's a decent little upgrade though the speed demon in me is definitely looking for something better right now
I've got an ausom dt2 pro dual motor I'm 220 and it tops out right at the 40mph mark pretty durable to crashed twice in traffic bent break levers but overall still works fine for about 1200 dollars
I use an app called gps speedometer to track my trips one trip was to work about 2 miles it said it topped out at 41 with an average of 27 but that was like fresh out of the box Ive got around 800miles so it's not quite getting up there anymore I have noticed how off the speedometer is though I saw it say 48 on flat ground a few times and just knew it was wrong
I have it for a few weeks now, coming from a Ninebot G30 II. It's a very nice scooter, the range is quite insane coming from the Ninebot, easily over 40km (Probably good bit more). Speed and accelaration are also very good, with the dual motors. Suspension makes a super smooth ride even on the more difficult roads here. Blinkers are a bit eh. Display isn't very bright, and the battery indicator just straight up doesn't work, so you kinda have to go by feeling. Also a bit on the heavy side, if you plan to carry it often. Charging time is slow, but you can in theory get a second charger. But the range does kinda make up for it with you not needing to charge that often. I'd definitely recommend it though if you look for something that feels premium and packs a good punch. Geekbuying also has it 50€ cheaper, and you should be able to get another coupon too.
Was able to return it and reordered the ausom DT2 PRO instead. Working great right now. Still waiting on my partial refund from klarna though.
They gave me full refund and ordered the DT2 Pro instead.
Just bought mine and have been riding it for a week now. The DT2 Pro has much better feeling brakes and work better than the L2 Max dual motor I had but they sent me a lemon and got it shipped back and got the DT2 Pro. It's also my first scooter but just be careful on your first couple of rides because you definitely have to get used to it if you're using both motors. I live in Chicago and have been using it for work this week and commute a combined 14 miles and it has been great so far. Once you start going faster though turn up the eabs braking and you can feel it kick in. But after 14 miles of keeping it in race mode and dual motor damn near the whole time I still have three bars left and I weigh 165 lbs. I also have an e-bike but it kind of sucks because now I'm just using this now to get around and I love my bike but it's not as convenient to up and just go.
Have the L2 max dual motor and has been a nightmare. The company is completey being shady after my scooter stopped working after just 13miles of riding. Literally will not turn back on or accept a charge. Fair to say I'm pissed. Then they only email you once a day at night which I know that because they are in China and I stay up late every night. It's like they think you won't respond because it's so late at night but then when I respond immediately back they still only respond once a night to drag it out. They are literally trying to send me repair parts instead of an entire new scooter that is obviously defected.
Was a dragged out process and just got my money back last week through Klarna for it but at the end of the day they kept their world and were professional within emails back and forth. First time was a problem with them trying to issue the refund but they figured it out. They accepted the return and I ordered the DT2 Pro instead and definitely impressed with it. Wanted the hydraulic brakes and bigger battery. Put over 300miles on it already here in Chicago, been solid👍
This is my first scooter and am usually an e-bike guy but I love the portability of the scooters and ended up getting the dt2 pro as my first scooter but I can say it's definitely a powerful and fast scooter especially if it's someone's fur scooter. I'm used to going about 32 to 35 on my e-bike but 40 on a scooter definitely feels much faster. But yeah I ended up having to send the entire scooter back which was the L2 Max dual motor originally but it worked out because I really wanted to get the D2T Pro anyway. I had driven only like 14 miles on on the L2 Max dual motor before it completely just lost all power. But knock on wood my DT 2 Pro has been great this far and I've already put over 300 miles on it. I never have the park mode issue because I leave mine in the Kickstart mode just for safety. As far as the blinkers go I'd never really use them anyway but you will have that problem of them she is accidentally getting knocked on by your hand or by hitting bumps but it's seriously not that big of a problem the few times it happens.
I got an Ausom DT2 Pro and I really like it.
If you ride longer distances or tackle steep hills go for the DT2 Pro
