I justblooks an ausom DT2 pro and its been amazing so far. Dual motors has plenty of torque and the single motor feels very safe. Im 6'4 240lbs and im still doing 32mph uphill. I get about 25-30 miles on a full charge in dual motor race mode.
Honestly the dual motors are the perfect range of fun and still feeling safe. It feels better crossing a somewhat busy road with the dual motor Single motor mode feels very safe and controlled. It just accelerates slower.
I got one recently as my second ride. Very solid. The only thing I don't like is the throttle but I'm getting used to it. The hydraulic brakes are nice and the 52 volts give it the extra power over the $899 model.
I have a roadrunner and an Ausom. I've had go Trax, I've had a parts bin scooter. Roadrunner is designed in the US and the build quality is superior to any scooter I've had so far. The Ausom is a great scooter. It was $1000 less than the roadrunner and it gets the job done..I have 1200 miles on the roadrunner and I park it for the winter.
I got one...it's a nice mid level scooter. Especially for the price.
It's the best value deal in scooters, available today. Fantastic little machine. Anyone saying otherwise has never tried it, or are just in complete ignorant bias. Probably both options really.
Ausom DT2 Pro. Thank me later.
Great scooter, Insanely fast and a lot of fun off-road
So far so good 🙂, I put tire sealent in the tires as a precaution because I heard they are a pain to replace.
It's a good scooter but I do wish I had the F1 max sometimes because of the extra powerful motors. What I really like about the DT2 pro is it has an excellent headlight compared to several other scooters I've had. It's steering is self centering and has no speed wobble. It's pretty fast and and comfortable to ride. It's light for a scooter of it's power making it easy to put into a car. The only cons are it's only air tag compatible for the tracker slot. Nothing else can fit in there. The horn is also the worst one I've heard. Nobody is gonna hear that horn especially if it's meant to get the attention of an automobile driver.
Exellent ! I'll also be facing easing into returning to work though not for a while. My scooters a bit of a bashed up old dog so I'll be buying something soon. The DT2 pro would be top of my wish list but not sure I can spare that much. Maybe a Joyor S10 sz but the tubed tires put me off. Sure is difficult making a decision and pulling the trigger. I've been procrastinating for a month and still no closer to deciding. Cheers 👍
Just got the ausom dt2, they look very similar just different color scheme. The real world specs seem similar as well, would love to see them side by side
It's a decent enough budget brand. It's like a KIA with a V6. Unless you ride slower, 20 miles is going to run your battery most of the way down. That's not a good thing to do every day. If I was looking for a scooter to ride 20 miles a day, I'd look for one that can do 40 miles. Bear in mind, range estimates for all scooters are calculated with a 100lb rider going 9mph on flat ground with no wind and full tires. Expect real world range to be half of what's advertised for any given scooter.
