I understand your frustration. I have the 2nd and 3rd floor of my multi unit home. I recently strained my left wrist carrying my Ausom Gallop (100 LBS/45.36 KG) up/down stairs. Some days I grab the lighter one just to avoid the lifting and Iām a pretty ripped muscular guy @ 6ā2ā 235LBS
r/ElectricScooters ⢠Which electric scooter do you recommend for less than $300 USD (I will also take it on public transportation)? ->The "best ones" are the G2 Master, G3 Pro, G4, and G4 Max. As for which one specifically? Well, it comes down to preference. Each one excels in it's own way, so I tried to lay that out best i could. **G2 master - "The Daily Driver".** It is the most practical, "liveable" one I guess you could say. It has the weakest motors of the 3 (2x 1000w motors), lightest weight, and the smallest battery (52v 20ah), but it's VERY close to the G3 pro in all 3 of those. Easier to haul around, more nimble, and imo the most refined. Hydraulic springs + lever arm suspension. **G3 Pro - "The Daily, But More".** Pretty much a slightly amped up version of the G2 Master. It's very very similar, just a bit heavier with more power (2x 1200w motors) + battery capacity (52v 23ah). Ausom Gallop is this exact scooter but removeable battery :) Suspension is **non**\-hydraulic springs + lever arms. **Regular G4 - The "Backroad Cruiser".** Unique from the others for sure. It's a SINGLE motor instead of dual. 1 big ass 2000w rear motor, big/wide 11" tires, the same battery capacity as the G3pro but it's 60v instead of 52v (higher top end speed!). It wont *accelerate* as hard, but it will push high speeds much easier than the g2/g3. The huge tires, longer wheel base, and lower center of gravity will also make those speeds much more tolerable. Suspension is also **non**\-hydraulic springs. **G4 Max - The "Super Scooter".** Different than the normal G4 in every way. It's WAY more powerful (2x 1600w motors). It's a big ass scooter, with big ass 12" tires, and a BIG BIG ass 60v 35ah battery. It also weighs as much as a fully grown adult. It is probably most comparable to Yume's higher end scooters. Proper hydraulic motorcycle-style shocks. They all pack TONS of performance per dollar, have *excellent* battery capacities, and enough features to satisfy most people. I've heard people say the G4 frame is iffy, but ive never actually SEEN any issues. I would get the G3 Pro (rather, the Ausom Gallop) personally, but the G4 would be my second choice.
r/ElectricScooters ⢠Which one of the kurkin scooters is the best? ->I have one, and yeah it's insanely difficult to get it into the car. It's heavy AF and loooong, and the laws of mechanics make that combination generally awkward.
r/ElectricScooters ⢠One Year Riding Electric Scooters ->Zt3 is an overpriced POS imo and the gotrax is ugly AF. The only good option are the Ausom scooters for what you've described
r/ElectricScooters ⢠Which Scooter? Segway ZT3, Ausom Leopard DT1 Pro, or GoTrax GX1 ->The Ausom gallap. No one's had anything bad to say about the scooter whatsoever which should speak for its reliability. Except the top speed which might be hard to reach
r/ElectricScooters ⢠Which Scooter? Segway ZT3, Ausom Leopard DT1 Pro, or GoTrax GX1 ->Actually if your budget is $1000, I would recommend the Ausom Gallop, Segway ZT3 Pro, GOTRAX GX0 or GOTRAX GX1. Gallop is a Kukurin rebrand as well, basically a dual motor Leopard. Has the best performance of the ones I just listed. The ZT3 just came out, its a cool looking single motor scooter, but I think its marketed towards off roading. GX0 is a fairly new dual motor thats not very expensive. GX1 is over $1000 but would be worth it if a sale comes around. It's built like a tank.
r/ElectricScooters ⢠Ausom leopard vs Segway ninebot max g2 ->For the yume Hawk I looked up the folding and if you're going to be folding and carrying the scooter often I would NOT buy the Hawk. The Hawk folding seems like it's so it can be stuffed into a closet or trunk of a vehicle or rv to go out hiking and joy riding or to a specific area you'd like to adventure maybe once a week. If you don't really find muscling it into the back of your vehicle if the trunk rear area is big enough. Unless you have a 2nd pair of hands you're likely to scratch your paint on the vehicle bumper trying to get it in. But with that said my y11 fits in a trunk with back seats folded forward. The ausom gallop I like that it folds "proper" by latching in place. Also it has the removable battery. For power and tire size you will be lacking getting the ausom. But the ausom seems more user friendly in the aspects of if you live upstairs or at work you can lock it up and grab the battery and head on in and plug it to charge. I'm fortunate my jobs past 4yrs employers have had an area to keep my scooters and let me charge them. For stability. Suspension geometry is a real thing and most scooter companies don't have the most ideal geometry since they have to make it work on a scooter and not a short bike with tall tires and suspension. Even though they say these double tree folks are less inherent to speed wobbles, it can still happen. Even them scooters designed over 60mph still get the wobbles. Even motorcycles get the wobbles(rarely). So the easiest and safest reliable way to increase steering stability is to get a steering damper. I ran up to 45mph mph on my yume one day shortly after I bought it and it slightly went into death wobbles and I was able to quickly correct it and not wreck. If you get into death wobbles it is rare to be able to ride them out and not wreck. I have my damper settings pretty light/loose because if I have to get on the sidewalks or tight turning it's difficult to do with damper too tight, and I mean scary to where your wheel doesn't turn quick enough leading you to wreck. Buy i went from normal loose steering to where it felt more direct and slowly controlled and hitting high speeds and bumps at speed the wheel stays pretty straight, strong jolts are held in check.
r/ElectricScooters ⢠Which Scooter? Segway ZT3, Ausom Leopard DT1 Pro, or GoTrax GX1 ->You're correct. Your "money is no object.. as long as it's under $1000" was the catalyst for my reply. Apologies, I can see you're serious here so I'll give you my number one choice for escooters under $1000 that I've seen, touched and ridden. The Ausom Gallop or its little brother the Ausom Leopard. Both solid purchases that give the look and feel of hyperscooters yet for about $1000. Good luck in your search.
