I have a roadrunner and an Ausom. I've had go Trax, I've had a parts bin scooter. Roadrunner is designed in the US and the build quality is superior to any scooter I've had so far. The Ausom is a great scooter. It was $1000 less than the roadrunner and it gets the job done..I have 1200 miles on the roadrunner and I park it for the winter.

I got one...it's a nice mid level scooter. Especially for the price.

Kukirin G3 Pro/Ausom Gallop. I weigh 150lbs and routinely hit 40mph on a full charge. I've done upwards of 25 miles between charges limiting to speed 1(14-12)mph. I won't let it drop below 48V. I always leave it in dual motor mode.

r/ElectricScooters • You need a scooter that will get you 25 miles on 1 charge , what would you buy knowing what you know now? ->

I have the Ausom Gallop, the same as the G3 Pro. If your scooter goes over 25mph, I recommend a steering damper. I have a RoadRunner damper on mine. Small road imperfections will send the tiny front wheel into speed wobbles very easily. There's not enough rotational mass to give stability like the larger wheels of a motorcycle or bicycle.

Ausom's pretty big. Borderline not portable for anyone who actually needs to go into shops with it. L2 Single motor goes 30, but I don't feel the speed so much as I'm conscious of it as a data point when on roads. More of a cruiser than a nippy ride.

I too have a climber as my daily driver scoot. I Picked up an EUC, an Aero, mostly because it's significantly smaller while going the same speed and more, once you become confident enough at handling the fact that you only have one wheel and are reliant on your balance. It'll rip up hills before wind pressure and inclines force me to accelerate slower at 26 MPH, but before that it GOES. It satisfies the "Go faster" itch by virtue of feeling faster and getting more adrenaline going because of the inherent risk involved, it fits in a gym locker, and you can sit on it while it self balances when you go out and have to stop for pedestrian crossings, or are just sitting in line. You probably won't even enjoy going 30 on a scooter, TBH. Used to have an Ausom that could, and it felt more sterile than the climber without the fun factor.

I have one, and yeah it's insanely difficult to get it into the car. It's heavy AF and loooong, and the laws of mechanics make that combination generally awkward.

There are much better specced scooters for the money, only reason they sell any is because ESG shills for them. If youre on a budget go for an Ausom scooter, they have the best price to performance/features, they sell a scooter for 600 that will hit 28mph. If you want something high performance get a teverun, the blade gt2 is fantastic, I have 4k miles on mine.

That's not a key factor, as Ausom is a good starter scoot that uses the same setup and doesn't have steering issues. There's actually a few brands that use that exact folding stem setup.

Ausom fudges their numbers more than most. Teverun for example is very close to reality. Really depends on brand, but take the specs from the scooter and run it through a calculator, probably more accurate than the average manufacturer claim

Do you have a scooter now? I think some of the Ausom scooters actually have a removable battery, so could be a viable option for you.

r/ElectricScooters • Im curious, why do we as consumers dont get scooters of this high quality for so cheap? (Snsc by segway) ->

I got an ausom gallop for 1100 when it was on sale. When not it is 1300 but it goes 40 mph, around 22ah 52v system, hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, tool less battery removal, keyed ignition, full lights all around with brake headlight and turn signals, good all terrain tires that don’t suck on road but aren’t amazing off road, front and rear swing arm suspension, dual motor, regen braking (though it isn’t very good), 10in tires, good display, can go flat out for around 25 miles and I put about 600 hard miles on it in like two months it is pretty nice. If I had more money I would get the yume raptor for less than 1600 dollars. It has similar features except it is 50mph capable, it comes with two chargers instead of one like the ausom does for faster charging, has the option for on road specific tires out of the gate, 11in tires, it has better front facing lights, and a 27 ah battery other than that they are pretty similar.
