Throw that raptor pro away before it kills you bro.. mine had its neck shear off at random.
I’m 6’5 275 and I have a Circooter Raptor Pro, and an Ienyrid ES60 which are both pretty good for my size
I’m 6’5, 275, size 16 and I’m a newbie, and the two scooters I have with decks that are big enough for my boats are the Circooter Raptor Pro, and the Ienyrid ES60. They’re both relatively inexpensive and pretty responsive customer service if you have issues.
I’ve used the Circooter Raptor when I first started, single motor and the max weight is 330. I’m 6’5, and I was 320 at the time and it handled my size with no issues. I’ve upgraded to the Yume X11+ mainly for range and it handles my size well also but now I’m 250
I never went further than 12 miles on the Circooter Raptor because I never had any reason to. I don’t know what type of incline the Brooklyn Bridge has but the speed would decrease from 19mph to 13mph. I was also on the single motor version not the dual motor version, so the dual motor would do better in that instance I’m sure.
Most scooters advertise ideal conditions that almost never match real-world use. Once you add hills, wind, or a little extra weight, the range drops fast. I switched to a Circooter Raptor Pro for this exact reason. I needed something that could actually hit 25 miles on one charge without babying it the whole ride. On mixed terrain with normal speed, it still gets me home without stress. The big tires also help smooth out city paths. Price-wise, I got mine on sale under 1K, and I don’t need to top it off after every short ride. It’s not a flashy name, but for consistent range and reliability, it’s been solid.
I am getting Raptor Pro in 800. I would choose dual motor over single motor. How long have you been using it?
+1 for Circooter. I have the raptor pro and even as a fat guy (300lbs+) it hauls.
Circooter raptor pro. Dual 800W. Hauls my overweight ass (over 300 lbs) around with no issues
I am also 6’ 2”. That is one of 2 very minor complaints I have with the raptor pro… the handlebar height is mostly sufficient but not adjustable. It hasn’t been a problem for me yet but a couple extra inches would be nice but it’s really not that big of a deal. The other would be that if you use the Circooter app to lock your scooter, there is no setting that sends you a phone alert if someone tries to move it, even within Bluetooth range. Other than those two things, which really don’t bother me that much, it completely exceeded my expectations. Like I mentioned, I am over 300lbs and it HAULS. I can damn near burn out on this thing. Can’t recommend it enough.
