gt08 is a beast, 1k miles on mine voltage sag is getting a bit crazy though.
This person is very much on point! Personally not a fan of the electric unicycle because I start having what if moments 😂but those things crush hills. My friend has one and tends to beat me at least up hill (I have a gt08 so it keeps up on flat ground). Whatever u get tho grab some gear!
Bay area!! Haha just had to say that. Inmotion is good as one of my buddies has one. I just gave away my Gt08 to a friend but I only recommend that if u want cheap and is willing to fix things on ur own. Me weighing 280 got me up nob hill every day for work so couldn't complain. Ausom no slouch. I personally now rock a m2 but it's $1600.
Used to live in Sf now live in Hayward but still work in city. I have a gt08 that zips me up to nob hill. Going to upgrade soon cuz it gets me up the hill but one block it be struggling😭 This is the scooter I am considering https://a.co/d/8jtYegq
I have but those scooters are $2500+. I weigh a solid 290 and it's not many scooters besides the gt08 that fall within the budget and hold my weight. I've been watching videos on the scooter tho. Just like my gt08 I think if I loctite every screw and check it I'll survive. That or u will see me face first on market street😭😭😭
U got a few options from EMOVE and Nanrobot. I been having my eyes set on the m2 scooter for a sec just debating if I should pull the trigger on it. Currently have the gt08 which after some loctite and damper is solid I just need want something with more range and a bit more power.
Ur gonna have to look into dual motor scooters but the more heavier ones (90lbs+). For myself, I roll with a boyeuda m2. I weigh 285. I lost 20 pounds but even before losing the weight my scooter zipped me up steep San Francisco hills. U gonna have to peep the beefier heavier scooters because those are the ones that actually support heavier weight and have good range. I used to ride a gt08. It's cheap. It's fast. But I will say quality wasn't the best. Never broke on me but it was constant maintenance and having to loctite every screw was annoying lol
Temu aliexpress alibaba or even shein has tons of electric scooter within your budget I started out on a ix3 now I have a GT08
Hahaha so funny my GT08 operates exceptionally well yall just be hating and saying whatever
I’m glad you pulled the trigger and bought the GT08, just be careful mentioning it around here some people just hate to see someone have a better quality scooter that’s cheaper than theirs 🤣.
I bought a gt08 to ride around with the my son on his scooter. Its cheap enough and has no problem with me being the same weight. I'm not after speed either, I just wanted something that wouldn't struggle and not break the bank. I think it's a great deal for sub 600 dollars
You can buy directly from China or wait till you get a 150 off on AliExpress plenty of options out there you only have to look in the right place. Imo gt08 is much better than many main stream brands specially the new version of the the gt08 that have the sit in the deck they did some TU on the deck and frame
