Check out Etwow TK5 for 1k. Dual motor 31mph electronically limited (Hopefully 36-37 after firmware update, 60v 21ah battery, ipx7 water rating, 73lbs.
It's just on sale for 999, most of the good colors sold out and back to normal price (Army Green color strong!). The US market for warranty is terrible unless you're buying through amazon. Etwow has always been an international seller with Uscooters as their US retailer. I hope they get back to you with warranty. I just picked one up on the US site. You actually have to unscrew the deck to initially power on the scooter (battery shipped disconnected). The wiring is extremely neat and all the components are individually sealed for water proofing. 100miles in and so far so good! Im 1 of 2 people on the subreddit that own the scooter, and I doubt many more will with the infux of inferior, cheaper brands like Ausom and Kukirin. Etwow has proven to me at least to make quality products. No stem snapping, bricked chargers, brake sensor issues, loose screws, quick battery degradation, burned controllers, etc... I hate to sound like a fanboy but if something works well in a sea of crap, ill sing its praise. These are the only 2 youtube videos that actually explain the scooter. You know whats funny. You're looking at a 20lb difference between the vmax/segway and etwow, but the dimensions are 1.5inches longer than vmax and .5 inches shorter than segway. It's pretty compact and dense for being similar size. Tons of people have water damage on their kukirins. The Vmax looks nice, but unless they have some super efficient controllers I don't see 20miles comfortably with even the highest battery option at 876wh for "56 mile" version. Same thing can be said for segway unless you buy the external battery whenever that comes out for $300+. Purely going off your specs, you need a battery with 1000wh or higher. You can hit 20miles on the vmax if youre going half its potential the whole time. Nothing worse than getting a new scooter and find the range less than half its advertised because you dont weigh 130lbs and you're commute has hills, and you bought a single motor scooter instead of dual so it struggles a bit up the hill and that eats up tons of battery and puts strain on the motor and controller. I wish this market was more transparent with the average rider. Long story short, if you want 28 mph and 20+miles, with the segway and vmax you're gonna have to choose one, because you can't do both for long. The website has no tax and shipping, arrived in less than a week. I was truly shocked.
E TWOW tank torqued
The god awful named tank torque is a bit heavy approx 80 lbs. is on sale for about 1000 right now, folds, and has a huge high quality battery. It has hydraulic brakes, hydraulic dual suspension and 1000 watt dual motors , its top speed is 30 mph. It is the lightest scooter to have a supposed 80km range, it’s not your typical scooter. It might be worth checking out if you can try into in real life
