Very smooth ride and you can feel how strong the throttle is. It'll launch you fast so be careful if you're not used to that. There's an option for a seat, but if you're tall like me you'll want to attach the foot rest and ride it standing up. I'm 220 Ibs, 6'1 and feel like this scooter can definitely handle bigger people easily. I was able to ride through grass no problem. You don't feel anything when riding on the street, very smooth ride. Make sure you have a helmet and gloves. I have been able to reach 30 mph. I’ve used it to go to work and back 2 miles and the battery is still fully charged. I’m extremely impressed with this scooter I wasn’t expecting as much as I got for the price. Comes with a seat, keys, and everything you need to set it up fully which it already comes 80% set up🙏🏽 make sure you tighten everything. For $521 after tax and shipping I can’t complain. Sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet. This scooter is very sturdy and feel like an expensive $1000 scooter for 1/2 the price. It also comes with a full year warranty and you can ship it for free to your local fed ex and get a new one if anything goes wrong!

r/ElectricScooters • Engwe Y600 Review $521 after tax shipped to my house in 2 days ->There’s another option. Your 80-mile requirement dictates a huge battery, which will cost a lot, weigh a lot, and push a class upgrade into very expensive range. What you can do instead is buy a normal 30-mile range scooter, a fast (15-20 amps) charger that is rated to operate at both 110v and 240v, and a J1772 adapter. That adapter works in both J1772 and CCS1 electric car chargers. You can recharge on your trip. My scooter is a $499 shipped Engwe Y600. It has a foldable seat. It’s a 48v 13s 18.4AH 54.6v charger system with advertised 40 miles range at turtle speed, which I confirmed to be true, and 25-30 miles range at 24-28mph under real world conditions. I hang my backpack over my handlebars, sit down, and enjoy the ride. I added the $60 J1772 adapter and a $200 15amp charger capable of operating at 240v (it comes with a 2amp charger). So, I can recharge in an hour for about 10-15 cents at any public J1772 or CCS1 charger. I also added a trailer because I use it for work and transport various stuff like my 6’ ladder. I could put an auxiliary battery into my trailer, but stopping at a charging station or any random restaurant with a power outlet is an option for me. I have done long distance touring like this.
